Ryan Gomes... (and a few other Celtics for that matter)

Lately, Ryan Gomes has been rebounding like a nut. Tonight he has 9 first quarter rebounds. I think due to him starting and his increased playing time he is natching the boards and doing much more scoring. Andrew, you should seriously look into increasing his reboundingstats and also his inside scoring slightly. And since I've been watching the Celtics lately, a few things I've noticed.
1. You gotta give Wally the Shooter FSS. He's agot an excellent shot.
2. Orien Green shoots mid-range very consistently.
3. Suprisingly, Scalabrine is a pretty decent 3-point shooter.
4. Paul Pierce has an incredible mid-range shot. It seems like he shoots better fading away than regular.

Just a few changes I would like you to look into Andrew. Please reply with comments and/or arguments.

Yeah, you are absolutely right. Ryan Gomes has improved much since starting the last couple of games, and Wally always hits the corner trey (there was just one off-night for him where he was 1-9 from the field), he is always hits threes and makes a lot of points. And Paul Pierce should also get a better inside scoring, and also more strength, since he drives a lot of times to the basket and sometimes even draws the contact, but still gets it in!

Wally aint a shooter? How else would a non slasher/dunker like Wally shoot 50% and 40% from the field and 3pt respectively. That should be fixed if a chucker like Quinton Rich is a shooter then Wally is definately in that mix.

Orien Green is real tough defender but I wouldnt put his mid range higher than 65

Scalabrine is a career 30%3pt shooter, and has the ability to hit it but considering he doesnt get much defensive attention most of his 3pt shots are good looks but he still only connects on 30%. That deserves a rating of 58-60 any more than that and your pushin it.

Pierce is perfect the way he is

Pierce is the NBA's best scorer in February, averaging 32.9 PPG! He should get some better shooting and strength.

Thanks Andrew, I'm happy to help you out with any changes you need with some teams I follow. I have a lot of general knowledge of basketball and I would love to help. Another thing to reconsider that I think is definitely Orien Greene's mid-range shot. his shot is excellent from the top of the key/ free-throw line area. Oh and (non-Celtics) Martell Webster is like automatic from the three.

Edit: Pierce's strength and inside game should be improved as well. I forgort to mention the LA game the other night. pierce was taking it to Kobe all night in the post.

Ugh.. the C's just lost, but Gomes rebounded, Delonte drained 3 threes in the fourth quarter, and Pierce absolutely beasted the other team. Miami had freaking 56 points in the paint. Stupid Shaq...

Ryan Gomes has been averaging 13.8 PPG to go along with 8.5 RPG as a starter (the last 11 games), and he just finished with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists! I wonder how much he has been improved by you, Andrew...

I believe I made a couple of changes that have already been suggested.

Andrew, if you're watching the game right now. You'll know that Ryan Gomes has 28 points in the fourth, and is a beast in the post. Pierce has a triple double. All I can say is, I sense a new great big man named Ryan Gomes. And I see an MVP candidate next year named PAUL PIERCE!

Orien Greene did good, too. =D

And once again I must state that I did indeed update his ratings. However, I do not feel he is one of the best in the league and there's a limit on how high I will raise his abilities for the moment.
