Defense in NBA Live 2003

Hey all.

Just got NBA live 2003. Its decent and I'll probably be playing it for a while.

My main concern in the gameplay is the defense.
I've heard a lot of complaints about how it's hard to play defense in this game and I have the same problem too.
In my opinion, its hard to stay in front of the opposing player on defense because they can change directions so fast.
Like the offensive player can go off in any direction he wants at any time so they can just run circles around you.

My suggestion is that they can improve itby having the player plant their foot first to change directions so they actually have to stop for a brief moment, like they have in FIFA games when u suddenly change directions from forward to backward or left to right. And then having quickness rating or whatever determine how fast they can do that. This will make it possible to play decent d.

Anyways, thats just my opinion.
