v1.05 released...

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Yes, you`re right. It`s not a patch problem. I`d reinstalled and deleted folders in Program Files and My Documents but problem is still here. Thanks anyway..

Try restoring the original dbfs in originaldb, workingdb and currentdb with copies from the NBA Live 06 CD.

Hey Andrew,

I know you probably go nuts cuz everyone keeps asking you questions like these, but have you got any idea when you will release the 1.06 patch?
Since there hasn't been set a date in the date-topic... ?
Perhaps Sunday the 26th of Feb?
Or week after.... ?

Since you know he probably goes nuts, why the hell would you still ask the question? You'll know when it's released, cause there will be a link.

How do people STILL not get it??

You people?

Hey a-hole, you need to chill and stop confusing me with all the rookies on this forum.

I'm not even gonna bother explaining you my situation.

A) I said "you people" no where

B) You said it yourself your question would drive Andrew nuts, yet you proceeded to ask it anyway.

C) I couldn't give half a crap what your situation is.

Thank you, drive through.

personally i think a really good idea would be to only allow members of the forum over a certain post count post messages in this thread...all the questions you keep asking andrew are just pathetic, READ FIRST BEFORE POSTING.

So...why did you go ahead and ask it when I've explained the situation countless times?

IF NO RELEASE DATE HAS BEEN POSTED THEN I HAVEN'T DECIDED ON ONE YET! I AM NOT A PATCHMAKING ROBOT WHO EXISTS ONLY TO PLEASE YOU! MY LIFE DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND THE ROSTER PATCH!

I am officially fed up. Anyone who decides to pester me about the roster patch or ask when it will be released from now on will be banned. I know that might seem harsh, but if you can't be bothered reading or treating me like a human being, you are not welcome in this forum. End of story, last warning, ignorance is no excuse. Thank you.

Thanks to bigh0rt and tempo for the support, it's definitely appreciated. :)

I know, it seems harsh. But I feel I've been patient long enough.

EDIT: I've updated the Release Date thread with some more notes, just to clear up any further confusion about my methods of setting release dates.

I'm hoping that's the last of the matter. :)

Have you decided eventually to release the next version short time after the trade deadline?

Will you set the 3 dunkers at the dunking contest?

Sadly, I don't think that's the case because he's one of the folks that's done it before.

As Jae and I have said before, we need a reading comprehention (sic) test in order to join the boards. Would be so much better.

I hope that idiot, and all who follow in his footsteps, are met with a swift kick in the ass, right out the door. No more bluffing. These guys who ask contribute nothing to the forums anyway... it would be better served without their waste of bandwidth.

i think decreasing gerald green in his offensive and defensive awareness ratings may be in order. He's spent the entire season, practically, in the Developmental League, so it means hes not ready for the NBA. The same goes for Martell Webster.

Good call on Green. I think I decreased him a bit before but with the Celtics' sending him to the D-League more often than not it's clear he's not quite NBA ready.

Pfta! That's what I've een saying all along!

Greens def/off awareness needs to be low 20's.

Faked indignation aside, ^Boris^'s made me laugh. For all the wrong reasons. You go Andrew.

I believe I've covered that one elsewhere but yes, I'll be raising his dunking rating.

berdush wrote:Despite I'm a ps2 player, i get the roster patch and right now changing the ratings 1 by 1... I'm working on it for a couple of hours and as i see you made a great work Andrew (Y) thanx a lot... If you accept let me suggest some minor rating changes about some Timberwolves players for the next update... Here they are ;

Trenton Hassell : I know Trenton isn't a star player, but i'm sure everyone agrees that he's one of the best frontcourt defencemen in NBA. I don't complain about his steal-block ratings, but his defensive awareness rating deserves better than 68. Also his 3PT rating (13) also need some minor improvement, he don't have a perfect range or style but sometimes he makes it when he's open.

Rashad McCants : Till now he's disappointing rookie of the year for sure, but in real life he's a great dunker (15 in game), has a good jumping skill (50 in game), lightning quick (62 in game) and as fast as a point guard (67 in game). I think these 4 ratings need some major improvements. Overall rating is fair so his inside scoring, strenght, passing, stealing and blocking can be decreased to get enough points.

Troy Hudson : Only his free throw rating (77) needs minor improvement.

Marko Jaric : Similar like Hassell he needs some improvement on his defensive awareness (43). At frountcourt defense he's not as good as Hassell but he's above league avarege and deserves better than 43 in my opinion.

Eddie Griffin : His FT (71) and 3PT (72) ratings show recession this season. You can decrease them a little bit. Need some more blocking (78) rating cause, he's a real blocking monster with 2.35 bpg in 20 minutes of play.

thanx a lot again Andrew, great work there (Y)

nice work about my suggestions Andrew (Y) thanx for appreciating :)
