No more catching up on fast breaks

Postby debiler on Sun Feb 12, 2006 7:44 pm

I don't know if someone posted this little cheat before, but I found a way to get a little speed boost that makes fast breaks much more realistic. When you have the ball in the hands of a decent dribbling guy, just hold the right analog stick to the left or right. He will first do that hestitation move. Hold the stick longer and he will do it over and over again, getting a speed boost everytime. There are two things I have to add though:
1. It's easy to abuse this move in every game situation, that's why I don't do it at all anymore.
2. Be careful that your player doesn't run out of bounds. He will keep running in the same direction he went when you started running. You have to change directions with the left control stick.

Have fun! :D

Yeah. I just thought it's worth being mentioned. I run fast breaks the normal way, too.

I use that when there's like 4 seconds left in a quarter and I want a good shot, with a fast runner/good dribbler, they get up the court so quick, you can get under the backboard and do that cheap layup. :P

that hesitation move your talking about is actually the cross over move,, i used more often with tony parker, its quit easy to score even if not in a fast beak situation,, but its not realistic though, maybe dont try to abuse it use it onlt in the first step but not to long jsut to evade defenders
