{LegoTP} - magic practice jerseys

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Postby LegoTP on Sat Jan 21, 2006 8:48 pm

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll try to release them in a fsh. Here are some previews of my work on the Pistons. :) The away one doesn't look very good because of the numbers, but I just can't find how to remove them from the front (is that possible ?).

for the home practice, u should use the new alternate Pistons logo on the top in the middle...

for the away practice, u should make the top and bottom 2 different colors (red and blue?) and u should make the NBA logo on the top skinnier...

i see potential in these tho ;) keep rollin (Y)

I was playing around with the Gimp and I made that jersey... note that I didn't correct the necktype on the DBF. I need help for the numbers... and also for the part between the legs (I tried one time but it didn't look good).

Thanks. :) I will try to make two teams, the Kanagawa All-Stars and the National All-Stars, what do you think ?

The Kanagawa team would have :

C - Akagi
PF - Sendoh or Rukawa
SF - same as above
SG - Jin
PG - Maki

And the 7 others will be Sakuragi, Miyagi, Mitsui, Kiyota, Uozumi, Fukuda and Fujima. Or maybe you all have other players to propose. :)

The National :

C - Morishige
PF - Masashi Kawata
SF - Sawakita
SG - Moroboshi ?
PG - Fukatsu

What about the others... Minami, Kishimoto from Toyotama ? Matsumoto from Sannoh ? Give me some ideas please... :P

Here are some new previews. The home jersey... and the away one, with some fixes, plus the correct Necktype. I just can't find the way to fix the numbers. :x Hope you like 'em. :D

I'd like some help for the ratings of the players. I don't want to put the ratings which I think are good, because maybe they'll be too good, or maybe they'll be too bad... let's start with the Kanagawa All-Stars (because I'm not fully sure yet to do the other team).

I'll copy the method D-Fish from nbalive.org used for the Euroleague project.

Field Goals-
3 Pt FG-
Free Throw-
Dunking-
Inside Score-
Off. Rebound-
Jumping-
Strength-
Quickness-
Speed-
Passing-
Dribbling-
Off. Awareness-
Def. Rebound-
Steals-
Blocks-
Def. Awareness-

(from 0 to 5, 0 is the worst and 5 is the highest)

You can send them by PM if you want. I'm gonna try one to see if some people agree with me :

Kaede Rukawa
Field Goals-5
3 Pt FG-3
Free Throw-4
Dunking-4
Inside Score-4
Off. Rebound-3
Jumping-4
Strength-3
Quickness-4
Speed-4
Passing-3
Dribbling-4
Off. Awareness-5
Def. Rebound-3
Steals-3
Blocks-2
Def. Awareness-3

Edit : thanks Chris (I changed the topic name :P), I tried some methods with the Jersey Raptor, but I can't find the right place for the numbers, that's the only problem.

are you going to continue making some practice jerseys because the updates were good
NUMBERS

1. Ok, now you have finished the jerseys now to change the number position. First click on seatc67.fsh(example) and then click on number posititions.

2. Now click on X for vertical and Y for horizontal, now only the top-left quarter of the box is the size of the numbers. For the X and Y the bigger the number the further the number will go.
from a tut from 05

hope that helps

Jersey raptor doesn't change the numbers' size in 06, you have to use the size from existing NBA jerseys

I've been "working" on a "project" : update the jerseys of the All-Star weekend mode (Slam Dunk Contest, Rookie Challenge or 3 point Shoot-out). It's 100% done, I just have to get the jersey patchers' permission to use them (I already have c0nr4d's). Here's a little preview (I don't have a before-after preview, only after) :

(I changed the away jersey, I preferred to put the alternate one)

(same for that one)

I've got frAn's permission to use the jerseys, so I've decided to release all the packs. (6 in total) I've experienced some crashes (but maybe it's me) though, if it crashes your game, tell me, I'll try to see what I can do. Thanks.

Here's the 1st link (credits to c0nr4d for the Bobcats and Cavs jerseys, credits to frAn for the Hawks, Celtics and Bulls jerseys) :

The 2nd (credits to frAn for the Mavs and Rockets jerseys, credits to c0nr4d for the Nuggets, Pistons and Warriors jerseys) :

The 3rd (credits to frAn for the Pacers, Lakers and Grizzlies jerseys, credits to c0nr4d for the Clippers and Heat jerseys) :

The 4th (credits to c0nr4d for the Bucks and Nets jerseys, credits to frAn for the Wolves, Hornets and Knicks jerseys) :

The 5th (credits to c0nr4d for the Magic, 76ers, Suns and Blazers jerseys, credits to frAn for the Kings jerseys) :

Extract all the files in the sgsm folder, enjoy ! (hope it'll work for you)
