Locked control and computer passing

Postby ignatu on Sun Nov 17, 2002 3:15 am

I play LOCKED on one player, and have since early versions of Live. But in 2003, the computer rarely if ever passes, on its own, to a human controlled player.

It will pass to a human if he calls for the ball, or if he's closest to the inbounds passer on an out of bounds play, or if the PG is human controlled for the first inbounds after an opponent made basket; but that's it.

If I control Kobe and run ahead of the pack, the computer won't give me the ball for a fast break dunk unless I call for it.

Is there a way around this?

I don't have this problem though. Grant Hill throw T-MAC (Locked) an alley-oop even I didn't call for it.

I actually thought it was always like this. When I've used player lock in the past, they never pass it to me anyway. :(
