Please don't ask why I brought this damn thing for my PC but, as anyone got the freestyle control to with this controller. I can do any cross-over or dribbling moves with this controller.

I am using this controller as well. In fact, it is why I am here right now. I have the controller working fine with the game. All you have to do is manually configure it and then save the configuration. You do have to reload that configuration every time you start the game(from windows) though.

My problem is that the game doesn't recognize the L/R triggers, and I'd like to be able to use them. It recognizes the L/R shoulder buttons just fine, but it doesn't see the L/R triggers. I came here hoping someone had heard of or knew of a utility that would make Live recognize those triggers so that I can use them? I have used programs like this with games like GTA, and I'm hoping somebody here knows where I can find one that will let my 360 controller fully work with Live.

I really don't see why EA didn't just fully support the 360 controller from the beginning anyway. They did it with NFS Most Wanted, which came out only about a month or so afterwards, so why not do it with Live?

I didn't know you could use the x360 controller on the PC, but it sounds pretty cool.

Don't know if there's any way to solve the L/R triggers, but if you open up your config file (located in the My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\configs\, and then the name of your configuration save) with notepad, and post the contents of it here, perhaps we could find a way...

Here you go:

Then download their modified .cfg that allows you to use the triggers as buttons instead. Works fine for me.

These drivers are awesome and allow you to have a deadzone too for games like need for speed: most wanted.

In fact the xbox 360 controller is probably the best controller i've ever used on my pc, and that includes my old ps2 dualshock.

I think I read somewhere that the controller must be wired, is this true?

XBCD makes your Xbox 360 controller controller configurable and enjoyable to use with Windows, unlike Microsoft's drivers.

Instead of Xinput it uses DirectInput now. This means rumble now works in PC games and it is more compatible with esoteric software.

The configuration possiblities are my favourite part. Use this forum I am linking you to, to find updated XBCD drivers with guides on how to use it. Also has configuration files pre-set for various games.
