PCI Video Card?

Postby Chemical DJ on Sat Jan 14, 2006 1:54 am

Ok my brother just bought a video card for his computer which only supports PCI. I wanted to know if he can run this game with the current graphic card or does he need a new computer?

Here are the specs

Windows XP
Intel Pentium 4 2.83
80 gig hardrive
512 DDR Ram
Radeon 9250 256 DDR

Pci-e supplies much more bandwidth than AGP/pci(v2.1) but if you have a fast enough graphics card...

Actually, bandwidth usually makes a marginal difference between AGP and PCIe. It's still yet to be proven which is better. But PCI is just way behind the times. It was like first-gen PC gaming. And a 9250 Radeon may be able to play this game fine, but good luck playing anything else.
