[help] custom team crashes

I read the sticky post about custom teams followed all these steps, but it still doesn't work. My team has a red jersey in the presentation screen and I can't start the match: the game crashes on loading. Could anyone explain me why?

The answer was written on the custom team post but the link didnt work where the answer was suppose to be. did I forgot to edit something?

Have you given your custom team a TEAMABR2 value that isn't recognised by the graphics files?

hmm the game still crashes.. I recently added my custom uniform.
and when I select teams i can see the teams custom uniform.

But when i load the game.. it freezes in the end of loading.
like 2 characters left on the loading meter...

any1 know why?

when u see the jerseys at the team selection, are the numbers showing on the jersey.

yes, they show the number of the "best"player on the team..

When it crashes that early in the loading screen, it usually means a DBF editor, though there could be a problem with the art file as well.

I would say it is because you have changed the 2 character TEAMABR2 value and haven't got corresponding court and or logo. Try using the team at an "away" game on another teams court.. if it works it is the court that you need to do...

i tried to play as away..

didnt work

It still freezes before the last 2 characters get loaded..
is my graphic file corrupt? is the shohoku team add on found on the site..
and it displays ok when i see the best player..

Yes, there could be a problem with the graphics files, or the way they were installed.

for my custom team i use 50 as one of the two team abbrev. and the other team abbrev. is what appears on the season schedule, etc. i make my custom court and uniforms 50crt/50away/50home.fsh. i don't know if its necessary, but its the only way i could get it to work.
