Most difficult Dynasty team to play as?

Postby YoyoYoshi on Sun Jan 22, 2006 2:41 pm

What's the most difficult Dynasty team to play as? I want to have a challenge the next time I play Dynasty mode, and the Hawks don't seem like the challenge I'd have expected to them to be (perhaps it's because they're way under cap). I doubt it'd be the Bobcats either, for the same reason. I'm guessing it'd be the Bucks or Wizards, since they always seem to fight for that 1st draft pick every season, but I'm not totally sure. If it is one of those teams, which one is more difficult to play as? If not, what other teams are difficult?

I'd Say toronto.

They're stuck over the CAP for at least 2 seasons, Bosh is their only player than can pour on massive stats.

Jalen and Mo Pete, are decent, and James is underated in the game.

Bench is ok, Charlie and Graham are ok...

Seems like they're a tuff team to use

That's an idea.

How would the Knicks be, considering they're some $60 million over cap?

i'd say knicks or raptors. Raps/Lakers/Knicks are teams I really wanna do a dynasty with.

It's Bucks easily. Just no Bench talent what so ever apart from Magloire.

i think the knicks, there so hard to get under the cap, and the entire team is just crap, and frye is underrated in the game.

the raptors ARENT the toughest, because the rose's contract can easily be dealt with by giving him away for penny. also, bosh develops into a great player (hes still a 84 only in mine, but heard from others he turns out to be outstanding). knicks are probably the hardest since they are so far over the cap and have long contracts. im using the raptors and im currently 8th in the east, one game ahead of the celtics for that final spot for the playoffs, went into the allstar break winning 10 of 11, bosh leads all statistical categories for my team (hes averaging like 20ppg, 11rpg, and 3bpg) other than assists and threes  .

the raptors are actually relatively easy, mainly because by the third or forth year they have like 10 players that are 70+.

Try a team that does not ahve a good center, aka Lakers, Utah, Knicks. It is alot tougher hen you do not have dominat big man, specially with new supersr mode, I think in this game you neeed a very good big man to have a chance. Just my 2cents.

Utah is the most difficult for me. Okur can't make any stops, Kiri gets double teamed, and if you can't get back into the game by shooting threes; there arent any consistent gunners.

NY isn't the hardest. I could win a chmapionship with the team they have now. As for Penny, trade him for Theo Ratliff...that guy when i had him averaged a dbl dbl + 5bpg (Y)

Utah...yeah probably. No interior defense, suspect @ guard, no bench and not many trade options.

I find Minnesota hard to play with and I play with them a lot because they are my favourite team. Sure I can just give Garnett the ball everytime down but that gets really boring. Apart from Garnett and Griffin, I hate the rest of the players. Most of them have contracts which are too big and they have shitloads of poo players which don't do anything. Their only good young talents (in my opinion) are Griffin and McCants but Griffin can't play in position cause of Garnett and McCants is too slow. Their are over the cap slightly and they have no roster space and I can't trade for any good players because they are all overpaid and can't sign any good free agents at the end of a season, even after picking up Van Horn and Penny as a way to get space at the end of the year because Garnett's contract keeps getting bigger and I don't want to trade him  .
