Does anyone know how to do the backwards shot?

Anyone know how to do the backwards shot? I didn't see this shot till a couple weeks ago. There are a lot of people online on the ps2 that are doing this shot. It's not a freestyle move either. Any player can do it. One guy I played did it with Shaq, wade, walker and J-will. The shot looks crazy too. The player turns backwards and they release the ball at a funny point. It's almost impossible to strip this shot too. Anyone know how it's done.

Yeah axare. The second screen that you posted is it. That's what it looks like. It goes in a lot. It's about as effective as the fss hookshot and any player can do it. This shot is better though because you can't strip it while they shoot, cause they never show the ball. Do you have any idea how to do it?

^^Judging by that screen, an EA employ must have mo-capped himself doing what he thought was a really cool shot. "I did a reverse hook, look!!"

It does go in a lot if you practice using the shot. I've played guys online who hit 60% from three shooting this way. I just wish I knew how to do it.

No, that's not what it is. This shot looks different. I've seen it done and It's not the same thing. I've been trying to figure out how to do it, but have had no luck so far. I posted about it on easports nba live 06 message boards. There were people who knew what I was talking about and how to do it, but they wouldn't tell me.

this shot amaze, just like the freestyle hook but muc accurate though, kinda tricky to learn, and their neck seems to be in pain after the shot, haha... nice find here

thow sweeeet, kinda hard in practice mode, but in the game, u can do it most of the time.... cant stop doing it, although its kinda ugly and not really realistic, but hey still does work especiallt in crucial games,

Dunk and Shoot presesed at the same time? So its not a superstar trigger move then. I wonder if there are other two button moves.

Yeah, it takes some getting used to pressing the dunk and shoot button at the same time. This shot is awesome though. I had some trouble with it in the practice mode. I went online and was doing it and it is a lot easier to use in the games. It is way more effective than the fss hookshot in my opinion. I was playing with philly and I went 5 for 10 from three with Dalembert with this shot.
