Free Agents down the road

Postby Motown_3 on Fri Jan 20, 2006 9:34 pm

I find that at the end of their careers many superstars become free agents and are rated in the mid seventies... When I see this i pick them up....

Dirk lead my team two rounds into the playoffs. The next year I picked up Stoakavic (Peja, I can't spell). Even though they were rated in the mid 70's they were putting up 45 points a game together.

I'm just wondering... Ok you had a 14 year career, why don't you retire ?

A few years later I picked up Tim Duncin and Jermaine O'Neill. O'Neill was in his 19th year and Tim in his 18th. I just thought they would retire before then...

Who did you pickup and how many years were they in the league ?
If you draft on skill, nevermind NBA Live sucks.

@Fitzy
His rating was 63... I dont remember exactley... He was a 90+ for most of the time but his ratings started to decline really fast once he reached the age of 40. He went from 73 to 63 in the last offseason...

@PHX4LIFE
Green retired 2 years before Melo in my dynasty together with LeBron James,Josh Smith,Howard and JR Smith(who becomes a great player)

He gets to 90+ with real high ratings for field goal 3PT and dunk I dont know how long it takes. I simmed that dynasty with the original rosters or one of Andrews first patches I dunno for sure.
