Great Fantasy Draft Team ...

Postby NBAGuerilla on Tue Jan 17, 2006 7:34 pm

I did a Fantasy Draft last night with the Sacramento Kings and for once i decided i was going to stay with this dynasty. My Team straight from the Draft had 4 Startes over 80 and one over 90

C T.Duncan (First Pick)
PF - T.Chandler (4th Pick  Duno how he fell that low, no one was picking PF's)
SF - J.Smith (The Dunk Machine - 3rd Pick)
SG - K.Korver (5th Pick - The Shooting Machine)
PG. G.Arenas ( 2nd Pick, suprised he didnt go 1st Round)

G.Green (Actually i think i chose Gerald ahead of Korver)
D.Dohnson
N.Ebi (Free Agency)
D.Williams
D.Diop
B.Udrih
D.Lee
D. Brown
D.Smith (Free Agency)

CJ Miles - Reserve/Training

I was amazed when i looked that i had 4 Starters over 80 then TD who's 91

I'm 2nd In The League behind Miami Half a Game behind them.

I agree, Korver only has an overall rating of 67, besides IRL he only shoots, doesn't do much on defense. U could of gotten a good defender for him.

Bench isn't very good, all u got is Green.

Korver was best left at SG by the 5th Round.

Can't be that bad i just finished with a 61-21 league topping record just from simming games and playing the odd few. then went on to win the NBA Finals 4 - 0 Over The Knicks, simmed the whole playoffs and won it. So it cant be that bad.

In 5 Year,s they'll still be winning. 2nd year now, 43 - 9 at All-Star Weekend from Simming. I'm at 100 GM Rating guna have a look at Possible switches at end of season. But i'll probably stick around for another 5 years to win 5 more NBA Titles :D

On Paper i agree its not the strongest team you could play, but its doing the job, some sort of teamworks going on. Bench is young, getting stronger every month.

Traded Donta Smith for A.Bynum and Bynum is a beast now, guna train him up to take over from TD When TD Retires. In 5 Years or whenever.

Right thnx.

Big Trade last night ... T.Duncan. B.Hanlon (Draft Pick) & D.Williams

and i got B.Miller, C.Bosh & C.Duhon.

Did the Trade because Duncan hit 32 and he went from 91 to 90, wanted to trade him before he became even worse and harder to trade.

Won the Championship again by Simming, i was worried the trade might affect the absolute dominance but it didnt. Went 4 - 0 through every series in the play off apart from the Raptors in the Finals.

Very Very Very Very bad trade because you got rid of Deron Williams.

You coulda played G.A. at the SG and Deron at the PG.

I can get him back off the Knicks, didn't train him too much so hes around 74 i think, not too hard to get him back.
