i've matched salaries based on the packages, like around 8 mill for a package and 8 mill for the other, but ill always get declined...

maybe artest, or krilenko. many teams are interested in my centers, beidrins or foyle, but anyone in the league has a higher ranking than these 2...

pierce and josh smith have gs's attention. josh howard, maggette sounds good, clips and the suns are interested in C's as well, so marion looks possible. peja looks good.

i tried Paul pierce dadamafia, but i dont kno what combination will work.
his salary is HUGE, it says 15.10 mil

dunleavy is only 6.9, biedrins 1.72,

man and if it isn't a straight decline, it says no cap space. how does cap space work again?????

if you REALLY wanna get rid of him, trade him to the bobcats, or a team that has posivite cap space. So the salaries dont have to match

Are you using the default roster or the NLSC roster, by the way?

It's fairly easy to make the computer GMs look like a fool. Usually I try not to pick on the computer too much, but here's a quick moves under the default roster that I was playing around with as the Warriors in dynasty mode:

Goal: Paul Pierce
1. Trade PF N. Tskitishvili, PF Z. Cabarkapa to the Celtics for SG G. Green, SF J. Reed (creates a need for backup SF)
2. Sign PG Damon Stoudamire
3. Trade PG D. Fisher, PG. D. D. Stoudamire to the Lakers for SF. L. Odom, PF R. Turiaf (in default rosters the Lakers have a big need for PG)
4. Trade SF L. Odom, SF M. Dunleavy, SF G. Green to the Celtics for SF Paul Pierce, PG M. Banks, C K. Perkins

Voila.. Paul Pierce (plus extra) for Mike Dunleavy, Tskitishvili, Cabarkapa, and some cap space (Damon Stouamire). You could probably make that last trade simpler.

This trade may not work all the time and remember that I was on default rosters; the computer sometimes declines a close trade, but you can just load a save of your team right before you do all these trades and do it again if you think it's close. Again, the computer is pretty dumb.. just take advantage of it.


*Edit: Was bored so here's a try on the NLSC roster: (doesn't feel right gutting a roster that was just made!)
1. Trade PF T.Murphy, PF Z. Cabarkapa, C A.Foyle to Chicago for SG K.Hinrich, SF T.Thomas (you need Thomas to make trades later because he has a lot of cash in his deal, allowing you to salary match better)
2. Trade SG K. Hinrich, PG M. Ellis to Phoenix for PF A.Stoudemire (I'd personally stop there, but we haven't gotten rid of Dunleavy yet.. let's grab another big man?)
3. Trade SF M.Dunleavy, SF T.Thomas, C A.Biedrins to San Antonio for PF T.Duncan

Ok, so you got both Duncan and Stoudamire .. and the only real loss from that deal was Murphy. You don't lose many core W's (Richardson, Davis, even Pietrus and Diogu are all still there). Look how bad the computer trades, it's unfair.

Hi...Here is what i did.

I got Bosh for Cabarkapa Diogu and Brewer(free agent i signed)
Then Stojakovic for Foyle and Tsikivili (You can put dunleavy here but he is my bench SF)

Then i traded Bogans(Another Free agent i signed) and Pietrus for Okafor
Along with Okafor I added Biedrins for D. Howard( great center)

Finally you have the choice of signing 2 FAs. I just took Nick Van Axel because i hate having people in the Resrve list.

hey does anyone know how i could trade for artest with the warriors? wanting to get rid of dunleavy and i dont mind giving away diogu if its for a decent trade

just kill him off, it will give you cap space
