does anyone sim the first 3 quarters during dynasty play?

i usually only play the 4th quarter when playing my dynasty... i was wondering if anyone else does this? it just makes the season go by alot faster. i play 12 minute quarters also

i adjust the difficulty level based on how big a lead i have or if the cpu is ahead...

rookie if im down by 16-20+
starter if im down by 10-15
all star if the game is tied or within 10 points either way
superstar if i have a lead of 10 or more

i find that this way the games are alot closer in the final 2 minutes and it will usually come down to execution at the end this allows me to catch up when im way down, or forces me to be carefull with a big lead.
does anyone else do this?
i just dont have time to play a 48 minute game ever...

i did that for 05.. now i just play all the games since i am doing a dynasty anyways

I usually have a couple of Dynasties going in addition to my main one. I might play only the fourth quarter of some of those games (usually in the Playoffs) in the additional Dynasty games.

I sim the first three quarters too. but i only play 5 min. quarters. is it fun to play 12 min quarters instead of quick 5 min ones.

I play 5 min quarters and sim the first 3. But if im like 30 points down or 20 or whatever i just let my team lose. But if im within 15 i'll usually play the last quarter.

I always intervene in the 4th playing 12 min quarters always on superstar. I'm thinking of starting a dynasty when Andrew will release his new patch where i will play full games but with 5 or 6 min quarters.

I play the full games with 12 minute quarters. I try to hold the other team to 20 points per quarter. I've only had 2 teams score over 100 on me

maybe you like starting a game in the 4th, down by 20, and playing on superstar....... i myself like to have a chance to catch up.
even on rookie its hard to outscore your opponent by 20 to win the game

if you have a 20 point lead the cpu will catch up if you play superstar, no matter what team you play with and against

You should bjust play on one difficulty. I always play on superstar Yeh and i play all 5 min quarters

I play only the 4th quarter 12 min. and superstar difficulty no matter if im down or ahead. I play with the bulls with andrews roster update just added MJ to the line up and released a couple of reserves.
I also only play interesting games like bulls v lakers,heat,magic, spurs.
plus i only play western teams only once and i pick it to be in thier home court. Luckily i went into the playoffs.
and got the coach of the year award.
BTW Phil jackson is my coach. i traded scot skiles to the lakers through dbf editing.
from the start of the season i made mj 18 years old for him to finish upto 18 to 20 seasons and made him rookie.
He won the ROY, DPY and MVP honors.
i'd like to made a dynasty story but i dont have much time to post a lot.
I'll try making one in my second season.

If i wanted to play this way it wouldn't work too well for me. My team sucks so i'd pretty much always be losing by the 4th Q. Before i played with Detroit so i'd be winning most of the time.

I also sim the first 3Quarters and then play the last one 7min. usually on Starter. If I'm too far behind I'll just let my team lose the game! By simming my stats are much more realistic, too!
