Hair and 1 problem

Postby Malfa on Mon Jan 02, 2006 7:36 am

If I get a face shape..lets just say Kobe Bryant. How do I change the hair on it also? Like..if I make myself from lets say idk..Steve Blakes headshape..how do I add hair to it to where it actually looks good.

Then my problem is..

I made myself..and put myself in the game and everything..and then the cyberface was alright I guess..but the body was a different skin color..and then if I go to edit..to edit my skills (I didn't do it yet I was gonna do it after the fact) it loads 75% of the way...and then just stops there. I wasited for like 10 minutes and then x'ed out. It does that everytime...

To change the hair, extract the xxxxxxxhair.ebo files from sgsm/players/plyrgrb of the hair you want and rename them. I'm not sure about the other problem, try changing the COLOR value in the appearance.dbf.

Did you edit the dbf? You might have changed it so you can't edit some of your player, that's what happens when you have a cyberface.

Lets say I use Zaza Pachulia...well then like his hair is in the way. So I have to use a new persons head thingy. I didn't really understand what you meant.

I don't get what you mean. Do you want to change Zaza's hair? Or give someone else Zaza's hair?

Well..lets just say I use Steve Blakes headshape..I don't have nearly a bald head or blonde or w/e hair. I just...idk..when I think of a good headshape..the hair always messes me up.

I think I get it. You want a headshape for your cyberface, but when you find a good one the hair isn't what you want.

That's not a problem, you need to extract the files for the headshape you want from sgsm/players/plyrlodb.viv, but that file will not give you the hair from that player, the hair files are in the sgsm/players/plyrgrb.viv file, and you can put any hair file with any headshape file

Kbryant8 wrote:9) if you want to add yourself some other players headshape then open (c:/program files/nba live 2006/SGSM/players) plyrgrc.viv (B,D also) with EA Graphics editor and export those files to the desktop and rename files MARPOOM.(you must export all files what that player have whos headshape you wanted.(headband.ebo and goggle.ebo,if you want that same hair like that player got then add hair.ebo too.)
Then put all those files to the SGSM folder..

MARPOOM is only an example u have to use your name, of course..

i hope this helps...

Yeah ^^, just extract the .ebo file you want, rename it to your player and put it in the sgsm folder.

Export the .ebo file to another folder, rename it, and put it in the sgsm folder.

The actual face isn't in the ebo file, you have to make one first. You can modify one of the ones in the sgsm/players/plyrface.viv to what you want, then export and rename the .fsh file and put it in the sgsm folder.
