BEST PG IN NBA LIVE 06

Postby Barnz on Mon Dec 26, 2005 1:34 am

Vote for your BEST PG in LIVE 06.

I choose Baron Davis.
He can post (strength 73)
He can shoot (FG 85ish 3pt 80ish)
He is fast (both quickness and speed over 91)
He can dunk (89 dunk + high flyer)
He can pass (92 pass)
Great off and def aware ( both over 85 )

Davis is a great OVERALL player to me as he is good at aot of things, ie dunk/post up/speed/strength/explosiveness/playmaker/shooter.

DAMn i hope davis picks up his game in the NBA ><'' get himself out of his recent slump ><'.

davis is probably the best overall pg, with the best ratings

i know i liked him most in 05, he could steal and shoot 3's which is what i needed in a pg back in the day

I liked Allen Iverson in live 04, he was quick and could do all sorts of things for me.

But in live 06, i haven't played with him yet, i've only played with rookie PG's Chris Paul and Deron Williams. They are both pretty good shooters...

Hm, so i'm going to go with Arenas because he's a machine...

lmao, i couldnt hit a fucking 3 with baron back in 05, but he was dead on with the mid range though. for 06, id have to go with ai, this guy is the shiznit, ridiculously fast, defensive stopper, great handles (can blow past ANYONE in this game). i would choose nash if he was better on defense though, hes money with the three and great with everything offense (of course other than rebounding  )

Gilbert Arenas. He has handles, can drive to the hole (and dunk) at will, can hit the 3-ball, is pretty strong AND fast, and he can steal the ball on D. Good passing and awareness ratings as well. He's a very well rounded player.

Baron Davis :)

Stronger than some PFs and Cs.
Very fast and quick.
Can shoot! I mean really shoot. When i sim, he goes 8-11 from 3pt sometimes :P
Great playmaker. In a simmed season he will have about 10assists per game.
Can rebounds and steal.
Can play 4 superstar positions.
And finally he can dunk..(90 dunk)

Funnily, in my very first Golden State simmed dynasty he was voted for the Dunk Contest over J-Richardson .. lol...whilst J-Rich was in 3pt contest.

Best PG? Steve Nash

WHY? Nash is a part of a dying breed of point gaurds. He's classified with the likes of Jason Kidd and John Stockton. His mentality of a "pass first, shoot second" point gaurd, is what makes him the best in the league. Not to mention he's got mad range, and some seriously money passes. He's freaking clutch. (05 playoffs vs Dallas), and he makes basketball games into track meets. The point (pardon the pun) is he's the opposite of Starbury, AI, and Arenas. Those guys, while taking 20-30 shots a night, can't make their team better. Which is the goddamn point of the whole postion.

But then again, NBA LIVE 06 is anything BUT realistic so..
Hands down the best at the point position is given to AI.

Oh yeah, in reply to drays's point of: Baron being "Stronger than some PFs and Cs", Id pick Shaq, Garnett, or even Duncan in a street fight anyday. LOL.
