How do you train younger players especially rookies so as to help them develope and realise their potential quicker?

I just focus with status around the 70's and with the right coaches you raise it up by 10 in 2 yrs easy. But if you notice that lets say your rookie center block barely go up 5 and your coaches still say I think there still might be room to grow then stop and work on rebounding or you might be wasting your time on him

Hey...isn't blocking and rebounding same category though? I mean..both are deffensive...how can you make the coach focus on something specific? Like i have Kwame Brown in Lakers and he has horrible FT...so i put all my coaches on him and EVERYTHING changed except FT...this is so gay... i even tried it with a shooting coach.

Yes they are but you can focus on blocking with the bigman coach or focus on rebounding with a rebounding coach.these are the coaches and what they focus on:

Ast. Coaches
---------------
Big Man - Ins Scr, Blk, Strgth
Defensive - Stl, Quick, Def.Awr
Guard - Dribble, Pass, Off.Awr
Rebounding - Def.Awr, Def/Off Reb
Shooting - 3pt, Fg, Ft

this should you

What if the Ast Coach's Speciality is None?

Then he'll randomly train in the entire field of whatever assignment you gave him. If you want to everything in offensive, defensive, and athletic field go to gm's desk, coaching, and last player development and it will show you everything under them

Coaches

Can u get any other specialty coaches besides the assistant coach, becoz when u go to view staff there is a whole chart for all these names, with only 1 coach in each category. In the '05 version i think i saw that with point u could get a rebounding coach (for example) in addition to your ASsistant Coach.

don't think so. You can however, hire multiple coaches, so long as you can afford to pay them.
