Retro rosters?like from 95-96

It would be so great if somebody would make a roster from some legendary season from the 90's when bulls were still hot. complete roster. that would be so cool. just making a wish for somebody who has the skills and time to do that. and do it well.

I'd like to do it, but as you can probably tell from what's going on with the current roster update I've been having a little trouble finding enough time for that the past few weeks. A 95/96 mod would be even more time consuming. For the moment I'll have to pass, but I'd always consider doing it as I love the retro roster patches. It's just finding the time.

I would absolutely love a retro rosters patch...

87-88, 92-93, 95-96, wow...

I can't wait 'til someone has the time to make these rosters...

Anyone who's ever tried to construct a roster from scratch (which is what these would be doing, essentially), knows that it's a TON of hours of work, and takes a real team effort, to be done properly, and timely.

I think this is just a pipe dream for us all. Until then, the classic teams in the Announcement sections will have to wet our whistles enough, because I just can't see entire classic rosters being an option at this point...

All-time rosters would probably be more feasible. The only other drawback of course is the current division alignment and the fact Dynasty Mode must have 30 teams; no more, no less. It's becoming harder to authentically recreate these old seasons.

I'd be willing to help out...

EDIT - I can get the roster lists if y'all want, that'd be easy enough. Then we can chat about ratings and such. I'm totally in for that.

Well, that does present a problem. We could always just add a 30th team and leave it as an expansion team... aka the Bobcats. Also, for a 95-96 season, it's not a big deal either because that's when Toronto and Vancouver/Memphis were added anyway.

That's true. One could also alleviate the problem by editing the schedule so that the 30th team never plays...though some problems with the draft would likely exist.

The main hurdle is getting all the art done and of course, setting aside the time to get the teams done. That said, we should never say never...

Well I definitely need help there since I can't make them at all. All the artwork on the NBA Live 2004 patch was supplied by others...except for a few NBA Live 2003 conversions I made (from the default faces in the game), but that's just a matter of headshape matching.
