No Player Circle & Superstar Icon Patch Download

Postby Derfi7777 on Wed Nov 30, 2005 5:52 pm

I made a No Player Circle and Superstar Icon Patch. This removes the circle and the superstar icon on the player for a more realistic NBA look. You can now download the patch on this link:

Thanks and enjoy!

Sweet patch man. I'm liking it a lot. Love to see what else you can do.

Jugs:
Please just put the patch files in your NBA 06 sgsm folder and if you don't like it, just delete the same files and it will restore your player circle and superstar icon.

This patch makes the game more realistic as you don't see the circle or icon on the player handling the ball, just their name as indicator of the player you are controlling.

Thanks.

Does look nice...hopefully you already know the person's superstar ability if they have one though.

jxuusa:
Yes, if you prefer to make it really more realistic, turn the stamina bar OFF in the In-game Settings and even turn the Player Indicator OFF in the Preferences if you want to make it even more realistic. You don't need a patch to do this one or both.

Enjoy!

LOL

You won't see who you're controlling on defense. :P

As soon as you move your controller you'll know, as well as using a direct switch. It's not overly difficult, and makes the game look 100x more realistic. (Y)

When you're used to playing NBA 06, even without the stamina and the player indicator, you know the player you're controlling whether you're in offense or defense. It's exciting when you're playing with another human, you won't anticipate just as quickly which player is about to block your shot. You'll get used to it!
