shotwindows.act in aiact.viv tweaking

I've started messing around with the shotwindows.act file in the aiact.viv file and noticed some interesting things. Here's what the original file looks like

I tried changing everything to 1.0 and played a game, then I changed everything to 0 and played another game. The first game I noticed things like not being able to hit a 3 pointer to save my life and no matter when I release a shot I get that poor release jumper animation. The second game I had to hold the button down longer to make a jumper. I also noticed I was able to block any player coming at me for a layup. I also noticed that the cpu would not attempt a 3 pointer if left open but ran the play instead. Of course those tweaks were experimental. I am trying smaller tweaks and this is what I have now:

Shooting sliders were (short/med/long)37/38/40 for user and 42/45/43 for cpu with 25 for layup, dunk, and adjusted% for both cpu and user.

With these settings I couldn't get my shooting % above 30 with the clippers against the pistons' 55%, so I adjusted my sliders to 38/39/40 user and 41/43/43 cpu. I lost the game 100-97 with Sam Cassell missing a game tying three pointer. However the FG % was in the 40's at the end of the game. 3 Pointers were under 40% the whole game. Last game I played as Golden State at Washington and I didn't change the sliders the whole game. FG% was .476 for GS and .478 for Wizards. I lost by 14 because I couldn't get to the line. Less than 20 free throws attempted and they shot 47. Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, and Adonal Foyle fouled out in the 4th. I've never played with GS before though.

Just wondering what anybodies thoughts are on tweaking this file given this information.

What does this shotwindow effect? Is it when players consider themselves open to attempt a shot?

It effects different things. For instance, the last three games I've played with those tweaks I posted I have LOST because 3 of my players foul out in the 4th, but I can barely get to the free throw line, myself. I've noticed that there is alot more contact(animation) from the defense, and that results in alot of misses around the hoop when contested. Also the cpu is pulling up from midrange/outside in my face and just knocking them down. Last night I played as the knicks at home against the pacers. I lost 116-109 but I was struggling to keep up because of lack of freethrows and foul trouble. Maybe I'll try editing just one of the original values, instead of all of them to find out exactly what they do.
