the BIRDIE BOARD 06!

For those of you who are relatively new to the Birdie system:
Birdies defined by ESPN.com:
Birdies, for the uninitiated, are the end product of a formula Larry Bird devised long ago to quantify a player's contribution to overall team success. Bird likes to add a player's points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocked shots ... and then subtract his missed shots, missed free throws, personal fouls and turnovers ... and then divide the total by the number of games played.
For those of you who are relatively new to the Birdie board:
Each participating Dynasty GM submits their pstat file to me(for now) and the file is computed to obtain the team's overall Birdie rating as well as each of the players. THEN, an equalizing system cross checks for unrealistic/inflated stats. A final score is tabulated and posted on the Birdie Board.

Instructions to find pstat file:
- load your Dynasty
- In DYNASTY CENTRAL, go to GM's DESK
- Select STATS CENTRAL
- Select PLAYER STATS
- Click "Save Stats"
- pstat***.txt will be located in the playerstats folder in the NBA Live 2005 folder within My Documents folder
Additional comments: As some of you may have known, I just recently moved to Seattle, WA and I'm just about to get a regular flow of internet access starting tomorrow...Yeh! Also, this 'season', I have a software developer mentor that I'm evaluating my code with...so things should start looking a lot more professional on the LiveGMC side. On top of all that, I'm so glad there has been some great response in Dynasty stories so I'm looking forward to creating a statistical enhancement to your Dynasty teams.
