RealNBA06 is a patch used to improve and enhance the authenticity of the <<NBA Live 06>> , which is made by Shuihan (QQ:2067369). Until 2005-11, the downloading of this patch from patch.ali213.net has reached up to 200000. The current version is 1.0 .

The patch has improved the authenticity and athletics of the game by the way to overtake the background parameter to adjust the play circumstance. Some unreasonable but quite effective skills due to designation, such as <I.scorer+Pass>, <High flyer's dunking> and so on, the power has been moderately weaken because of the patch.

The patch also support single and online modes. In the single mode, the patch is a bit like being embedded parameter script, newplayers can directly use it and save the efforts of looking up formers data. But some experienced players may not be adapted to the parameter set by the patch. Please revise the data you as you like on this basis. In a word, the most substantial thing of the patch isn't in this single mode.

As we know, in the online mode of NBA06, host computer can only choose some basic options, such as minutes/q, game speed, injury frequency and fatigue effect and so on. Others are obliged to default property, not the host computer's properties, which many people take it as the latter. In other words, though you are in single mode, adjust and use relatively more reasonable parameter script, enjoying relatively authentic circumstance. Once online playing, you have to face with forced default data in the game. In this way, many technical skills and approaches are not strategic, but can be sufficient, which is prevailed widely. Those who pursuit the connotation of basketball can not help but a bit disappointed, isn't it?

In this question, the patch brings a solution. Since the patch supports online mode, if both two parts of the online computers have set up the patch, the patch then forces to use the above authentic script. Though the script is not appropriate to all, which is mentioned above. One point should be affirmed is that at least it is more reasonable and authentic then not using the patch, and it takes more heavily on players' comprehensive abilities. If only one online player set up the patch, the play shall be forced to stop and offline, which put an end of cheating in the game.

1. Copy the file of the patch to the root "My Document\NBA LIVE 06" to perform;

2. Set up the game, enter the main interface , press <Alt+Tab> back to the desktop, and click <Start RealNBA06> on the board of the patch, to make it become effective. you can cancel the patch anytime by press <Stop RealNBA06> or <Start RealNBA06> to active it again;

3. Now you can begin the game in the mode of single play, while in the mode of online play, you have to wait until both side have been already;

4. Please notice that in the online mode, if only player set up the patch, the play shall be forced to stop and offline.

doesn't work for me. I minimized live, and pressed the start realnba06 and i still can get the hook with dirk get in from the 3-point line

it says it weakens some superstar moves nd someother hosting issues online....but the patch didnt really weaken the superstar moves enough to bring out a fair gameplay. u could still make 100% of those superstar hookshots, dunks, and other scorer abilities.

the most thing i don like about this patch is i cant change the sliders inside...

Is it a file change or something that exe file do if so why the file released and we backup the old one if not what does it makes anyway isn't it little bit frustrating although i appriciate your good work on gameplay briefly. I also have to start ppjoy and now this one. Please if there is a solution for that help me or us whatever.

the patch changes some settings of the game and made the game more real.and it can use in the online game also.quite a nice pacth.
