Online Rosters

Hello I need a lil help. Ive downloaded the latest roster and when I go to play online it does not update. What do I need to do to fix this problem. I play with the Spurs we need Van Exel and Finley!

rosters are only for offline play to prevent cheating online.

Ive played people wit the update rosters how'd they do it? Please help cant go another season without updates.

which platform are you talking about? PC/PS2/Xbox?
if they had updated rosters there has to be an official patch out.

PC and it was a ranked game.

for 2005,you could play with updated rosters,but only for not rated games.

If you replace the files in originaldb etc with the files from the roster update I believe you can use them in online games.

i have the same problem with the xbox live version. I use the spurs also, and update my roster (trading for michael finley and van exel) before heading online. however once i get online, the roster is resetted with the online download. Is there anyway to keep your roster online?

No. It is to prevent cheating. Online only allows you to use EA official updates.
