The second screenshots is from the XBox version of the game I belive. They have higher jersey textures for some reason.
You can always download jersey patches to make them look better.. (y)

I'm currently working on a texture to look like the ones on the Xbox version.

But, I'm not sure how many people actually like those big ass mesh holes...

jumpman, those are detail settings. not system specs.
read the stickies on top of the board:
http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic30618.php

plus, what you say makes no sense. how can that be your detail settings? lighting is on. plus those are the highest possible details to run the game. if your card doesn't support lighting i doubt it will run the game on those details.

and what's the problem with lighting now? cuz that card should have no problems with enabling it.

jumpman... what are you doing??? first you post this:
my specs
O.S. - XP MCE 2005
Motherboard - ASUS P4P800 SE
Processor - P4 3.06 HT
Ram - 1gig
graphics - ati radeon 256mg (9550 card)
dual DVD burners (SONY and CREATIVE)

and now you post something completely different :?: :?: :?:

i take it the last post are YOUR real system specs, which would explain why you can't turn on lighting. your graphic chip isn't capable of running the game with lighting enabled.

now why did you post all that other crap first??

no, update your drivers for that. that solves it in most cases.
