November 14, 2005: Salt Lake City, UT - 3....2.....1.... clank. It all came down to one last shot by Stephon Marbury, but he missed and it cost the Knicks the win. Marbury took the long half court three when the clock showed 2 seconds left, he could have driven all the way down to the three-point line of the Jazz before getting the shot off. Despite this, Marbury nearly made it in. The ball bounced 3 times on the rim before falling out, saving the Jazz's perfect record.
The Jazz again were down early in the game, but recently shifted to backup shooting guard Gordon Giricek saved the night by hitting 8 - 12 three pointers, including 4 in a row to give the Jazz a 2 point lead. Point guard Jeff McInnis showed in this game why the Jazz traded for him by putting up 15 points and dishing out 6 assists. Boris Diaw however had another lackluster night. Though he took only 2 shots, both were threes, and made them, he was clearly overshadowed. Fans will be wanting to see Giricek back again soon.
The Knicks, just like the Bulls, did not play their bench AT ALL. The backcourt of Marbury and Crawford combined for 64 points. The rebounding totals for both teams were fairly similar, 28 - 24 favor of the Jazz, and the Jazz got one more offensive rebound, 14-13. The eyepopping figure is the number of fouls for the Jazz, which were 24 - 13.

November 14, 2005: Sacramento, CA - In yet another game that went down to the wire in the fourth quarter, the Utah Jazz were able to pull through and hold on to their precious perfect record.
Right from the tipoff the Jazz were down and were unable to convert due to Sacramento's psysical play. Time and time again the Jazz dished the ball down low to Andrew Bogut or Mehmet Okur, and time and time again the Kings frontcourt of Brad Miller and Kenny Thomas thwarted they by either blocking their shot, bodying them into a miss, or simply knocking them down to the ground. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was furious and was calling for a foul until he could speak no more, and resorted to hand signals and his assistants to call plays.
The Jazz's new point guard Jeff McInnis was the bright spot for them in the ssecond quarter, scoring several key points, including a layup to give them the eventual lead with about 3 seconds to go. The Kings threw a long pass to Kenny Thomas at midcourt, who jumped to shoot a three, but was fouled by Okur. Thomas made the ensuing free throws to tie the game going into the half at 43.
The second half was a totally different story as the Kings came out storming and took the lead on steals from Bonzi Wells and Peja. Miller was big and used his skills to grab 10 offensive boards, for a total of 19 rebounds, and dunked those in for 28 points. Despite the domiance of the middle by the Kings, the Jazz worked the ball on the outside and showed their strenght. Gordon Giricek has been a force the last couple games since going to the bench, and today was no different as he poured in 32 points, including 8 - 14 shooting. The man who took his spot in the rotation only scored 1 point in 5 minutes of play and missed all his shots. Coach Jerry Sloan said after the game, "Boris is still adjusting to our system of play and our new uptempo game, but our starters need to produce, and depending on what happens next, you will see some moves. But if Gordon is more comfortable coming off the bench, then thats what we will do".
In the fourth quarter the Jazz were really pressuring the Kings, and seeing their time run out point guard McInnis and Giricek took over, making incredible shots and pulling the Jazz closer and closer. With 26 seconds left, McInnis launches a three between Hart and Wells (see images), and tied the game up at 85. In the last 20 seconds the teams traded points, but the King's last attempt was not good and the game headed into overtime, the first for the Jazz team.
Overtime was a completely different game from the first four quarters. The Kings scored the first basket, but seemed dead afterwards as the Jazz completely outran everyone. Bogut and Kirilenko and Tabuse was running circles around the Kings. Peja tried to step up as he scored 15 of his 33 in this quarter, but it was too late of an effort as the Jazz were just compeltely unstoppable. Once they got rolling there was no stopping them. Thus the final score does not show truely how close this game was.
Player of the game was again Andrew Bogut with 25 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists. Right on the Jazz's tail are the 76ers, who also won tonight to improve to 8-0.

Author's Note: well... the kings were being so physical, i was getting so pissed off.... cause i kept on getting knocked down with no foul called. When I forced overtime, I didnt care of keeping it realistic and whatnot, just caught the ball and send all my players on fast breaks and took any shot and 3 and whatnot... thus the crazy ass OT score... .I was playing it safe before, but kinda just spazed out in OT and shot whenever, and they went in, interesting.
Btw, i also kinda went overboard with Fraps and took shitload of pictures... lol.

thanks. I think i like this shadow format a lot better. it takes a little more time that the other borders, but i feel like this is simpler and just looks nicer, probably will stick with this.

OK, so I have played the Suns game, and made a transaction with one of my struggling players... I think I kinda of went overboard with Fraps and took as much/even more pics than the kings game.. dunno.. XD

Well... I am waiting before class and was looking over what I have done, and it seems like I have wasted a lot of room on the first page with those huge player pics. I was experiementing with several ideas and this was one of them. I kinda just took the pics and put them into strips and combined them to make "one" player, and well, it looks a little strange and cramped and whatnot, and I had to put player's numbers instead of their names because i dont think they wouldhave fit. So... yeah, here it is. feedback please.
I have also made a aqusition, thus the number at the bottom, and then played 2 very amazing games, and the most recent one last night..... holy shit!
^^^^^^^ looks very cramped and messy, most likely will not use it.
And if my pictures are too big or whatnot, please tell me because my 1680 x 1050, so things may be small on my screen but HUGE on yours, tell me of that ok?

Stoudamire, Williams Heal In Time For Rematch

November 14, 2005: Salt Lake City, UT - On the morning before the rematch game against the Suns, the Jazz organization released a brief statement saying that they have traded unhappy swingman/guard Boris Diaw, who has be underproductive in Utah, to the Toronto Raptors for first year Charlie Villanueva out of UConn. Villanueva is a faster player, taller, and has more athleticism and upside and can run the court well, whereas Diaw could not get use to the Jazz's type of run and attack play and often fell behind in the play and was never able to get his offense going.

November 17, 2005: Phoenix, AZ - In a highly anticipated rematch, the 2 powers from the west face off again. Each team returns a key player, the Suns Amare Stoudamire, and the Jazz Deron Williams. Today was the first game for recently aquired Charlie Villanueva. As quoted from an unknown part owner of the Utah Jazz, "If players are producing, then there is no place in the locker room and this or organization. In the game we played against Charlie when he was with the Raptors, he was very productive, and that is what we like."
Effeciency and production is what the Jazz want? well, they certainly got it from Villanueva. Coming off the bench in only 9 minutes of play without almost any knowledge of the game plans, Villanueva scored 8 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Deron Williams in his first night back mostly shared the point guard duties with Jeff McInnis, with Yuta Tabuse also getting some minutes too, but most likely will not be much now that there are 3 point guards on the team.
The bench of the Jazz really stepped up, scoring 33 points, and 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. Gordon Giricek had another big night for the Jazz with 21 points, while the high point man for the Jazz was Andrew Bogut with 26, though Bogut was limited on the boards by Stoudamire and managed only 7 boards. Andrei Kirilenko has been a silent killer these last few games. Though he is no longer averaging over 30 points, he is still managing around 15 points and 10 rebounds the last couple games. In the last few minutes, the Jazz were down, but after 3 straight 3's by Gordon Giricek, the game was out of reach.
The Sun's Stoudamire was the leading scorer of the game with 32 points, but close behind him was Shawn Marion, who had the only double-double ffor the Suns with 29 points and 11 rebounds, as well as 7 steals. Backup point guard Barbosa was also big, coming off the bench for Steve Nash to score 19 points and dish out a team high 8 assists. Nash had 7 assists, but was in foul trouble the whole night and scored only 2 points.
The game was fairly close, mainly due to the Sun's Stoudamire's huge dunks and Marion's slashing drives, but in the end it was not enough and the Suns were unable to exact revenge, falling by 11 points.

November 14, 2005: Salt Lake City, UT - On the morning before the rematch game against the Suns, the Jazz organization released a brief statement saying that they have traded unhappy swingman/guard Boris Diaw, who has be underproductive in Utah, to the Toronto Raptors for first year Charlie Villanueva out of UConn. Villanueva is a faster player, taller, and has more athleticism and upside and can run the court well, whereas Diaw could not get use to the Jazz's type of run and attack play and often fell behind in the play and was never able to get his offense going.

November 17, 2005: Phoenix, AZ - In a highly anticipated rematch, the 2 powers from the west face off again. Each team returns a key player, the Suns Amare Stoudamire, and the Jazz Deron Williams. Today was the first game for recently aquired Charlie Villanueva. As quoted from an unknown part owner of the Utah Jazz, "If players are producing, then there is no place in the locker room and this or organization. In the game we played against Charlie when he was with the Raptors, he was very productive, and that is what we like."
Effeciency and production is what the Jazz want? well, they certainly got it from Villanueva. Coming off the bench in only 9 minutes of play without almost any knowledge of the game plans, Villanueva scored 8 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Deron Williams in his first night back mostly shared the point guard duties with Jeff McInnis, with Yuta Tabuse also getting some minutes too, but most likely will not be much now that there are 3 point guards on the team.
The bench of the Jazz really stepped up, scoring 33 points, and 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. Gordon Giricek had another big night for the Jazz with 21 points, while the high point man for the Jazz was Andrew Bogut with 26, though Bogut was limited on the boards by Stoudamire and managed only 7 boards. Andrei Kirilenko has been a silent killer these last few games. Though he is no longer averaging over 30 points, he is still managing around 15 points and 10 rebounds the last couple games. In the last few minutes, the Jazz were down, but after 3 straight 3's by Gordon Giricek, the game was out of reach.
The Sun's Stoudamire was the leading scorer of the game with 32 points, but close behind him was Shawn Marion, who had the only double-double ffor the Suns with 29 points and 11 rebounds, as well as 7 steals. Backup point guard Barbosa was also big, coming off the bench for Steve Nash to score 19 points and dish out a team high 8 assists. Nash had 7 assists, but was in foul trouble the whole night and scored only 2 points.
The game was fairly close, mainly due to the Sun's Stoudamire's huge dunks and Marion's slashing drives, but in the end it was not enough and the Suns were unable to exact revenge, falling by 11 points.

yeah, i liked him when he was in hs, and when he was at UCONN, except when we (UMASS) played em, and beat em! HA!... lol. younger yes, but no doubt better, I looked at my team rating and it went up by a couple points, and i was like "hells yeah".

Man, giricek or bogut for MVP right now, they are just insane. Bogut is leading the league in rebounding period, offensive, defensive, you name it. lol yeah, when i was simming the off-days up to the game, i saw the notice that he was back and was like "damn it, wtf, right before we play em he comes back, why?" but he didnt do too much damage, we kept him off the boards.
Thanks guys. I got done with the more intense and whatnot stuff this week, and will try to put up the game against the Grizzlies that I played a couple days ago and have just resting on my computer... another question...
should I be saving ALL my pics on my computer or just uploading em onto imageshack and delete them from my harddrive? cause with the stuff I have, they will take up a lot of space... I am already on page 14 on imageshack. lol

I think you should store them on imageshack, because just in case, if you run out bandwith or space on imageshack, you can just right click on the pictures, and view them, then re-save them to your hard-drive.

November 19, 2005: Salt Lake City, UT - In one of the tightest early season games so far, the Memphis Grizzlies travelled to Slat Lake City to take on the 10 - 0 Utah Jazz, who remain the only unbeaten team in the NBA.
Right before the tipoff, coach Jerry Sloan announced that Rookie Charlie Villanueva will be put into the power foward position while Andrew Bogut will play his natural position of Center, and Mehmet Okur will take the 7th man position behind Matt Harpring.
Right from tipoff the Jazz trailled and never caught up until the last second. Despite playing only their starters, the Grizzlies never had a challenge from the Jazz in the first 3 quarters. Point guard Bobby Jackson led the way for Memphis with 28 points and 8 assists. Right beind him were Pau Gasol and Shane Battier with 16 each. (Gasol scored his jersey number) Lorenzo Wright had the only double-double of the game with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
On the Jazz side starting Villanueva might have been a bad idea because it ruined their starting chemistry, and Bogut seemed never really comfortable playing center after he made the move to power foward. Wright kept him to only 10 points and 7 rebounds. Gordon Giricek had an average game with 16 points on a surpirisingly bad night from downtown, 4-11. The star of the game was Deron Williams, who made all of his points from downtown. sinking 6-9, including one last one. The last shot came off a timeout with 5.1 seconds left. The play was drawn for Giricek, but right away Giricek was doubled, and he kicked it out to Williams, who launched a fadeaway quick 3 just as time expired. The crowd held their breath and when the ball swished in. Williams became an overnight hero.
"It was amazing, I caught the ball and [Bobby] Jackson was on me right away, I just dribbled to the left, saw there was only about one and half second left, so just let it go. Tell you the truth, I was praying for that to go in, it was amazing. When it swished in, it was like someone cranked the volume down for a split second before turning it to full blast. It was amazing... all part of the game," said Williams in the post-game interview. The Jazz improve to 11-0 while the Grizzlies fall to 4-6. "There was nothing we could do to stop it, it was in his hands and he made the shot, we played our best and nearly knocked them off. We'll get 'em next time." remarked Memphis head coach Hubie Brown as the team left the stadium.
