I'd put money on it that Amare is the starter...

I'd say put Amare on F so that Kurt will have more playing time..

Amare will play the 4, Thomas at the 5, and Marion moves back to the 3.

Maybe if you read..you would know.

This also has nothing to do with NBA Live.

Well it really has nothing to do with reading this thread, no where in it does it saying anything about the 3 man

I conceived Rab's post as that is what he is wanting to happen, not that it was in fact Marion playing the 3 spot, because Marion played the 4 last year

You conceived? rofl

and also if any of you had common sense and knew anything about basketball you would know Kurt Thomas is at the 5 / Amare 4 / and then Marion back at 3

You would also know Amare and Marion were complaining all year they wanted to go back to their regular spot. Which is why they traded for Kurt.

Amare as the Forward spot, he was asked which spot he wanted by Mike. He said the PF, and Grant with Thomas will see the C spot, but don't be surprised if you see the old line up with marion at the PF and Amare at Center when they play small ball l;ike against Dallas or something...

Malfa, shutup, i'm ashamed as a fellow Trailblazers fan because of you

I agree with tim the king, Amare should be playing PF but wen they go small-ish, play Amare at C

amare wont start ahead of kurt at C... especially not when he comes back (straight away...)

amare at 4, marion at 3, Kurt at 5 (pretty obvious, as mafla said)

The original starting lineup from D'Antoni himself before Amare went down.

C - Thomas
PF - Stoudemire
SF - Marion
SG - Bell
PG - Nash

Adjusted lineup with Amare gone.

C - Thomas
PF - Marion
SF - Jones
SG - Bell
PG - Nash

This is what they been playing in the preseason, and this is most likely what they will play with during the season.

I don't think Marion will stay at the Pf spot, his whole fantasy value is based on his progression at the 3. Expect Grant to start at the PF spot.... I don't know... I hope Marion stays at the three... his potential will be wasted at the 4... there aren't any reliable shooters at the guard positions for when they Iso the 4 spot so that Marion can exploit his speed, to stretch the defense... He'll get doubled then probably end up injured... He worked so well at the 4 because Amare was unstoppable at the 5. The 4's defender had to help D on Amare which pretty much freed up Marion for his double doubles...

The Defense won't think twice about leaving Kurt to double Marion unless Kurt developes a super reliable mid-range game, which we all know, isn't gonna happen... If the Suns want to atleast be at competition level and win some games, they need marion at the 3 to run the break....
