~Wankstas Photoshop Stuff~ LJ and KG Sig!!!

Well, I didnt REALLY buy it. I just went to a Store Closing sale and it was there. It cost 24.99 for Photoshop 7.0. I think i saw CS2 for about 50.

Holy Shit!! CS2 for 50 dollars only??? I bought it for 230 €!!

You NEVER brush on top of your pic unless its a tiny little bit of light white brush, if you dont understand tutorials, then understand them, look at the goats, if you dont understand that, then you are mentally gifted, and I dont mean that in a good way.

This is one of those situations that I like to compare to my Chemistry class. The teacher will tell us something and cringe. He cringes because what he's telling us isn't true but it will help us a lot right now in understanding other aspects of the class. When you start, don't brush a lot over your picture/render. Later on you will know the benefits of doing it and how to make it work.

Have you downloaded any brushes yet? Some of the default brushes are okay, but most aren't very good. I suggest you get some brushes and just practice using the brushes, making colour layers, and generally getting a feel for Photoshop before you even make another sig. Just make a blank image, maybe 512 x 512 or something and see what all the functions you can do are.

Whatchu on about? I love his art. The...the...the art is...something I've never seen before. You guys aren't even close to his..well..ehm..hmm, artistic skills (in lack of more awesome words).

Please, please, please use better type selections. This is probably the worst font display I have ever seen. Just look at posters, books, company logos, etc, and take a look at the fonts they use. Look at the fonts that c0nr4d and Colin use, other than mine's, and you'll see that you're not using the right kind.

And the KG/LeBron one... I thought that was a tropical forest, and I could hardly see the players. You have a lot of work to do, but before you start your next one, please take the time to do some research and take a look at other people's works.

Still bad, but better, just take a look at the various designs out there and learn from them! Read magazines, design books, other people's works, etc... Study the type, the colors, composition, etc. You need to understand art and drawing well to be an excellent designer.

You have a long way to improve.

Colin told me this a while back. Don't post everything you make. Play with some of the effects you can do with both backgrounds and players, basically practice what you can do.

If you want some ideas, look in the Gallery of Art. Just look at what others made and try to do the same yet with your own personal style.
