Are the playoffs harder?

Postby Matt on Fri Oct 21, 2005 10:17 pm

OK, i just started my first playoffs in 06. I beat the Heat 3-1 in the reg season with some ease.

Now in the playoffs it's hard as hell to win (1-1). The throw the ball to Shaq, who just dunks it. He takes more shots than wade too.

So far, this is the first live that has challenged me in the playoffs, with the toughest opposition (Spurs, Cavs) yet to come.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was. In past Lives, they've attempted to code a more challenging experience in the playoff, however the difference has been minimal. Haven't touch the playoffs this year, but it sounds like they may have finally succeeded in creating this intense atmoshphere. I few years back I recall seaching .dbf files for indication of this. I beleive I found a column for how teams perform in the playoffs.

well i'm convinced that gameplay is tougher after registering 4 consecutive, down to the last minute games and a pounding by Shaq in each.

the only way you can play Shaq is in the Finals.

I'm at 3-2 now, i failed to clinch the series away from home, which seems to be real hard to win.

'm loving this. Down the stretch, when Miami needed a basket, Shaq posts up IN THE KEY, Posey immediately dumps him the ball and Shaq disposes of Wallace before a dbl team can come.

The thing about dbl teams is that, sometimes you might get a steal, but it's risky because he'll pass it out to the open man for a 3.
