Quick Plays?

Sorry if this one is answered already, but i couldn't find the answer..

I feel a bit embarassed, cause, i play nba since live 2000, and i still don't know the "proper" way of using quick plays..

So, my question is, how to execute an offensive play? Calling it is not a problem, but what then? Do you control your PG, using off-ball.. or something else? It's not a problem to make pick-and-roll, but those more complex plays give me so much problems, especially if i don't have an animation of certain play.. So, any help/tip is welcome!

Also.. I don't know how to change offensive plays in live 06. There's no problem with defensive ones, but my offensive plays are always the same, i can just change those other "plays" under them, like power big man, scorer, etc.. ??

In 06, there are animation now. You double tap the quick play buttons then press on your analog stick to see where to start the play.

For further enhancement of plays, I suggest you research on your team's strong plays.

I've been using the Spurs for the past few years, their best offense is the flex offense. Check the net on the "Flex" offense for example. Then you'll find that the PF starts at the top of the key, pass to your guard, then the center sets a pick to free up the cutting PF. That's the Flex 3 i believe. It's loosly translated into the PF scorer quick play.

I suggest you study the animations, then stretch your study to the net for a philosophy of the play. This way, you can run the play as second nature.

Practice, practie and a little more practice.

I'm not using any particular team yet, and I was planning to change my team after every season when I start the dynasty mode, it should be more interesting.. I'm a bit tired of playing with the same team all the time..
