Help with hiring staff?

Postby gil0a on Fri Sep 30, 2005 9:24 am

I just hired a top of the line A+ on everything for 1.23 million

with just around 700 left, what should i spend on both a scout and a trainer?

i personally dont think a scout is that important, but i dont know how this works in live?

You spent a little too much on the Ast. Coach. I spend around 875k for mine and left a plenty of room for the other two. I wouldnt spend much at all on the scout, and the trainer just whatever you have left over...

Man, but this coach was well worth it in my opinion! lol

he was like A+ in every catagory

well, for a scout, could you get away with hiring a piece of crap D scout?

i mean, i dont really understand the scout part. what is it that a scout could scout out better?

i didnt think scouts were that important either really, i usually just draft people with 'excellent' potential. and besides, you get to go 1 on 1 against your scouted players before u draft them now, so u can really decide fo yourself

Ast coach is the most important. Then trainer as he helps heal your players quicker.

i guess the wosrt scouts need more visits with players to get accurate numbers and the D-scouts just don't give back good info. For instance he tlls you that a player is lacking inathleticism, but he really is quick and fast. I guess it works something like that. i don't spend money on scouts. i get the cheapest and draft the highest pick available or based on the one-one ones witht he upcoming rookies in the offseason.
