Can i remove the NBA opening Movie of the game?

How can i delete the NBA Live'sopening movie?
Im making A PBA Live mod (Filipino professional League) and ive changed all the screens except the damn NBA LIve intro movie.

I don't know if this would screw anything up, but from what I can tell it's located in the movies file within the main nba live 2003 folder.

yeah sw the moviefiels there,
i tried deleting the whole directory
but when i started the game, It still loaded the intro movie from the CD!!!!!!

If it loads it from the CD then to remove it would involve loading all the files off it, deleting the movie, then burning the edited version back onto the disk.

I believe you can edit one of the .cfg files to read the movies off the HD. Thus, if the intro movie file isn't present, it will either:

a) be skipped
b) crash the game

finally did it!
my friend has a stripped down(make downloading faster) bootleg version of NBA Live. I copied his movie files (which really had no movie content, it could just be a .5 sec movie ) and replaced my movie files with them.
The NBA intro movie is now gone!!!
I wonder if the NCAA mod still has the NBA into movie, but i guess they already got around it too.

try ds...edit ur xstartup.cfg (by notepad)...type or add ds r_nomovies 1 ...

hope that can help

xstartup.cfg is located n ur nbalive\main folder ... usually n program files
