After sitting out for awhile, I've decided to get back into creating NBA Live rosters. So far I've moved all of the default players to their appropriate teams and updated all the latest contract info for you Dynasty Mode fans. I've also begun adding all of the "hidden" rookies, which is kind of a pain. Here's Salim Stoudamire:

I've got it so the announcer calls his name and everything. Eventually I will be updating the ratings so that they are a little more realistic. (Like Tyson Chandler as the highest-rated Bull? Jannero Pargo rated higher than Chris Duhon? Whatever.)

I hope to have a first release out (which may or may not include all of the missing players) sometime this weekend.

BTW, No need to point out how crappy my vid card is. I'm getting a new 256MB card this weekend.

is Gary Payton on the Heat?

and do you have Lonny Baxter signed with the Rockets?

Yes. All of the rosters are up to date as of today and each player who signed a new contract this summer has their correct contract amounts and year lengths. (For example, Tyson Chandler and Chris Duhon have their correct contracts instead of the one-year qualifying offer.)

As for getting the announcer to call the name, he does say "Salim Stoudamire". Each player that has a cyberface also has an announcer ID. The tricky part is determining which is which. The second round picks are pretty easy because they're all in order. But all of the first round picks were not assigned announcer IDs in order, so I'll have to figure them out with a little trial and error.

Just don't forget Orien Greene and Ryan Gomes (both are in the plyrfac.viv as ORGREEN and RYGOMES).

It might be a few more days before I release the rosters. I'm running into a few issues:

1. Haven't been able to determine Martynas Andriuskevicius' speech ID. (Plus his name doesn't fit on his jersey. It just says Andriuskev.)
2. Ersan Ilyasova's cyberface is the same as Andriuskevicius.
3. Ruben Boumtje has a .fsh but when I use it, he has a pink head.
4. I still need to add all missing players that don't have cyberfaces and speech IDs.

For other patchers out there, here are the speech IDs I have confirmed so far:

1)I think that that dude with indiana's avatar was able to find andriuscievius' speech ID. I think we can live with his last name spelled incorrectly

Where is Martynas Andriuskevicius from Cleveland Cavaliers? He's signed player, but he isn't in Live 06?
