Superstar Ability Modifier

Why isn't any superstar modifier key in the game.

Like when you press a key (button) a menu would appear (like in NBA 2003 playcalling) and you just press another button and select wich offensive superstar ability you want for that play.

For example, if Amare has high-flying and power, you can select which one you want. It should've been simple enough.

There's not enough buttons for it. There's too little as it is now anyways .

A thing that I think would work better though is have the option to change it in the pause menu (much like how a substitution works).

How about just personalizing it yourself?
Like assign L+X to be some shooting move and assign L+Y to be some scorer move. This way you could also have true signature moves also I guess.
Bored.

They are saving this idea for next year so you'll keep buying.

they shoulkd at least have 'Freestyle Superstar Type" in the Menu where you choose Jerseys and finalise game settings, so you dont have to wuit your game, go back into the roster options and change it, they realy need to make it more readily available

Yeah...we truly just need extra buttons...for PS2 (now PS3) for example, they should add another R and L button on each side behind R1, R2, L1, and L2.

I hate how EA doesnt let us configure how WE want.

For example; when playing defense, obviously you play with the left analog stick using your thumb right. You want to call a Dbl team, only way to do so is using the D-Pad so you have to lift your thumb and by the time you call the Dbl it's way too late.

I'd prefer to have playcalling L2 like I always do instead of the D Pad exclusively.

I still think that's the future of that feature, customising move sets and mixing and matching the Superstar abilities.
