what is the scoring areas of the following players

Could someone tell me the difference between a 6 and a 7? And isn't Allen Iverson a 8?

I'm not exactly sure about the difference between 6 and 7...though 6 probably means more jumpshots (Jerry West, Steve Smith). I didn't write up the guide, it was contributed by a member of the old forum, so I'm not sure about Iverson. I'll look that up.
