I'm sure he's going to have a good career, but don't expect to see what we say in the NCAA. He won't be able to carry it over entirely against SGs in the nba where they're atleast 6-5.
Plus the most athletic position in the NBA is SG, he's gonna have his work cut out for him.
So he has the ability, but I don't think he'll be able to do it in the NBA, therefore he shouldn't get superstar status.

Wow..great logicDoesnt matter if he's not a "Superstar" in all aspects of his game... the point is that he is one of the best shooters around so he will most likely have the Shooter Freestyle abilities...
If we are going by your logic, is Bruce Bowen a superstar? no far from it! but he is a great defensive player therefore he will have the Stopper Freestyle ability!

First off don't be patronizing, let's talk about the merits.
So you think Salim will be able to shoot the ball well and in the end of the season obtain a good FG% against the most athletic position in the NBA at 6-1 and not being all that athletic? AI is quick and athletic and his FG isn't all that good.
EA like to keep players somewhat accurate to their stats. Therefore, I doubt Salim will be a superstar shooter.
that's my logic, it may or may not be the case, but it's reasonable.Doesnt matter if he's not a "Superstar" in all aspects of his game...
i didn't mention any other aspect of his game. I don't think he should get it cuzz he will not be able to shoot 50% over athletic 2 guards in the league, who'll be almost half a foot taller. what part of that is illogical? we haven't seen Salim play in the league yet, so it's debatable.
Of course Bowen will get stopper freestyle, he's been doing for years. Salim has been doing it in college, may or maynot translate into the nba. Plus going by EA protocol, i doubt they give a second rounder shooting superstar status.
I do agree he has a greattttttttttttttt shot though, i just doubt it'll translate into the nba. until he proves it in the league, he shouldn't get it.

My fiance and I had a late dinner and stopped by Walmart to get some things before we went home and there he was! He seems like a cool guy, I just told him good luck with the following season. He was all decked out in adidas, well just a white t-shirt, and adidas sandals and shorts. I knew he just signed with them so that's what finally got me to ask him.He was buying hygiene products.
I dont really think thats the basis of this point anyway! So what shooting rating would give Salim? It would be just ludicrous to give him a low rating because you "think" he wont be able to get a good shot off because of taller defenders haha...
He's a good shooter, a proven shooter.. why not give him a good shooting rating..
Wow talk about a rant!

first off, don't assume that just because a person doesn't agree with you that he or she has less knowledge or watches less basketball. The world doesn't revolve around you and your opinions.
Who said he should have a low shooting rating? I wrote above that he had a "greaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttt" shot. But I presume to get superstar shooter status you atleast an 80-85? I might be wrong, but I doubt EA will give a 6-1 second rounder that stat, if they do he'll be a great pick up for any LIVE team like Kappano was the past couple of lives.
I was gonna mention Kerr too, I was gonna right there hasn't been a good short 2 guard since Kerr. If he was stil lin the game a little younger, i think he shoudl get shooter status too, BECAUSE HE'S PROVEN HIMSELF IN THE LEAGUE AGAINST THE NBA'S FINEST.
Salim did it against guys who are now accountants.
But like I said, it's just my opinion. I may be wrong and EA will give that status, I just don't think he should get it quite yet. EA has more often then not, UNDER-rate then anything else.
I don't hate the guy, in fact I wanted the Clippers to pick him, they wanted to but the cavs picked him up right before the clippers could. clipper fans have been eyeing him for a long time.
say what you will, but don't antagonize me.

Where do you live at?
I saw your location, and I was like wow you saw Raymond Felton in the coochie

It's cool though.
But to stretch this even further i would like to ask (most specifically Devin112) if someone like say Gerald Green should be a highflyer?
