Out of topic:
I've been away due to Hurricane Katrina. Now, I evacuated to Indiana. My house is right where the levee broke so i have little hope of going back to new orleans soon. All my NBA LIVE series are GONE! You can't imagine how pissed I am because all I have left now is two pair of clothes......

Damnit man, that sucks big time! Good thing you made it out of there, is your family ok? That's obviously a little bit more important than your NBA Live's. They suck anyway. :)

Power Rankings? They were in 2005 too, at least they could've changed something besides the colors of the menu. :wink:

Telfair averaging 18 ppg? Nope, 17.9 ain't 18 and `17.9 ain't happening either. :wink:

17.9 isnt 18? LOL. i guess u missed a couple years of Math when rounding up is discussed.

17.9 = 18, 17.4 = 17

but i guess you have that typical shitty NY education LOL

anyways....

he will average about 15 ppg

Looks like they haven't really touched the simulation engine at all. Athletic SFs still get way too many rebounds. 18-20 ppg guys like Yao or Gasol average 25-26 ppg. Kobes and T-Macs under-scoring averaging around 22-25 ppg. And elite point guards still dishing less than 8 apg.

Sorry to hear about the loss of everything. Things happen for a reason so I'm sure you and your family will bounce back and find that zest for life again and get back on your feet. I wish you and yours the best....

As far as Live goes it looks to be pretty much the same game in a different wrapper with updated rosters and the FS. Should still be a pretty good PC game and hopefully even better on the 360!

still the top point guard average 8 assists per game. steve nash and j-kidd should average double double in each game. whats up with nash averaging 8 assists. thats not realistic.

That is caused by what I call "teamate's fault", that means that if there are only two real scorers in the starting lineup, them both will get great numbers just because the rest of the teamates can't contribute as much.

I was looking at some of the screenshots and why are the pistons rated higher than the spurs?

If its like previous years they average out all the players ratings on the team, and it becomes the team rating, though i have a feeling its changed this year

The stats were dissapointing, APG leader was 7.9, Yao led the league in scoring, the FTA leader averaged 5.8 FTA PEr game, and it was Yao :roll:

The BPG leader was Ben with like 2.34 BPG, no one averaged up to 3 BPG, that's stupid, and some of the ratings were not accurate.

A LOT of the ratings were inaccurate, this pisses me off a bit.
