Do you think that the Spurs or the Pistons...

Will have a higher "team" rating this year?

I'll say Spurs now with the addition of Finley.

(If you think this is a no-brainer because the Spurs won the championship, think again. Last year the pistons were rated 90, while the Kings were rated 92... so.. )

The Spurs will probably have a slight edge over the Pistons. With Van Exel and Finely, the Spurs just added some extra offensive firepower. And I don't think the overall team rating of the Pistons will decline because they've essentially kept the same core of players.

Besides, if you disagree with a team's rating, there's always a friendly little option called "edit".

i'd say spurs, i think they have more offensive weapons, so that'll give them the ratings boost.

Cavs should be ranked pretty highly if the way the ratings from last year are anything to go by. The improvement of LeBron James (will there be anything he can't do?) the additions of Larry Hughes, Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones.

This team should be ranked atleast 91.

Ok, looks like everyone agrees on my Spurs.

I think the Kings will be rated right up there also... (not just because i'm partial to them) haha.. but yah.. they are pretty darn good this year.. having martin, williamson, skinner, and thomas coming off the bench.. I think they'll have a good year. A little better defense also. :)

yes spurs are better....they have defense and now much added offense...so in 06 i think they will probably be the highest rated team.

While I do agree the Heat will be rated 2nd highest, I'll tack on the words of Steve Kerr, "Will there be enough balls to go around for the heat?"

I think they will have a worse record than last year. :)

Now watch all the heat fans come and slaughter me. Ha.

Spurs always get jipped from getting high overalls in past NBA games no matter how good they were...It was BS...this year they shoul at least get a 92 rate

Spurs since they have the best acquisitions this year than detroit..EA based their team's rating on the players not on "chemistry" of the team.
