Live 06 coming out early Sept. 6!!!

Why would these store folks tell people the 6th? Maybe to get those $5 bills.

I know you can reserve any new game for $5 and systems $50. But Sep 6th thats WAY to early man, I cant even imagine what idiots EA are if they release it this early. They should release it after the NBA Preseason so the rosters are accurate.

It really seems too early...and video game stores aren't necessarily reliable sources. Dates change all the time, wrong dates get reported and stores such as EB Games and others don't necessarily double-check or update the data they've got on file.

the nba live 2k6 for the xbox 360 would come out on nov. 15, 2005. the xbox, ps2, pc version would come out in sept. 26. Twenty one more days to go.

I think, there might be a SLIM chance.

This year EA has added a dark horse to the mix with their next gen version.

Most of their sales this year will be with current gen edtions of live, so maybe by releasing a 'dated' early verision, it might compell you to buy the 'latest' Next Gen version.

I think there's a SLIM CHANCE that they COULD be baiting us. Imagine, if you have an early 'dated' verision of live on the PS2 and u're loving it. u're playing it, and then a few monts later when the season is in full swing they offer you the NEXT GEN version. greater likely hood you'll buy ur second copy of live.

I know for me atleast, it'll be tough buying 2 versions of the same game on the same day. If they want me to buy both, then of course they'll have to upgrade the game (360) and then seperate the dates apart more.

Everyone might dimiss my point, but I'm just throwing things out there. [/rant off]

i hope it comes out 2moro cos if it does im going straight to the games store after skool to get it if it comes out that date in england too but i doubt it cos england is so late with everything except for gta:sa

Commercially, what ClipperTalk is saying makes some sense. If our new live is more outdated and comes out earlier, we will be hungrier to buy live on 360 in two months. We will get more of an update out of it, for one, and want it more. And an early live release would get a huge jump on 2k6.

The other thing, though... Live 06 seems to have been "done" forever. There is very little new in it. We've seen screenshots of a finished game forever.

Unfortunately, probably 26th.

It's the 6th now..what's the deal? did you get you game or what...all the stores that I've called are telling me Sept. 27 (Canada)
