How do you make the legend players play in their own jerseys

How do you make the legend players play in their own jerseys

I was wondering how to do this, I want Magic Johnson to play in his showtime Laker jersey and Larry Bird to play in his celtic uniform and so on...how can this be done :shock: :?: :?: :?: ........I want everyone to have their original Jerseys not the all-80's uniforms they wear.... :( :wink: ....any help is appreciated :D

It appears that you cannot edit teams so that they wear their original team jerseys. In previous Lives you could do this, but no one has been able to get it to work in Live 2003.

can we just put them in the all star team and change the stuffs in Original Team or Team or whatever, just like what we did for the all stars jersey

You don't need to edit the dbf. Just put the appropriate jersey patch into the player's custom art folder and rename the jersey home.fsh or away.fsh (depending on which uniform patch it is).
For example, if you want Magic Johnson to wear the Lakers showtime jerseys, change the names of the jersey patches from "llaway.fsh" to "away.fsh" and "llhome.fsh" to "home.fsh". Make sure you change the home & away number files too. Copy these files into the folder render/xplayer/eajohns (if you don't have that folder you'll have to create it).
You can do this for any player that you want to have wear a specific jersey. Just remember that if you do this for a regular NBA player, you'll need to remove or change the jerseys if you trade him.
