i know, thats what pisses me off. if they do some changes in that before its release, then i be satisfy, but they had to change how pda, calendar and offseason works.

Great find. (Y) Yeah it's the same except for the player evolution interfaces. But I'm glad they added something new though.

how old is this vid? they haven't updated their rosters at all.... chucky atkins is an "upcoming FA" for the Lakers, Michael Redd is an "upcoming FA" in General... I sure hope this is an early video that got released late and that they added some other new stuff. I did see some scouting days in the beginning of the dynasty etc, on the calendar.

The entire geographic of the Dynasty mode has been changed! You boys aren't looking at the right things... The beast is downed, but I don't know how it will all go from here... It'll be intresting to see.

You need to look harder and you need to look deeper... DYNASTY POINTS ARE GONE!!! No more collecting any frikkin dynasty points! Like that was a good system... Now you could actually simulate through the rebuilding wihtout playing each and every game...

The roster page was not shown at all, so there is no indication on what changes have been made there... Could there be something called chemistry there??? Probably not, but it could...

Hire/fire coaches is a good thing... There's a separate budget for it, which is nice. There is a "pre-season" for hiring coaches. My only question is, can you hire multiple coaches? Or is it just one? There's a whole 3 week period for it, so atleast you have time for multiple negotiations... Obviously the success of your training sessions will be related to your coaching staff!

Scouting, can you have multiple scouts and have them going at it for the entire season like in real life, since there are no dynasty points any more? Is there a "scouting budget" that limits the amounts of scouting you can do?

What about training sessions? Do they still exist? And how often can you have them? Is there a training budget? Or is there a limit to how often can you do it? Or is it just the training camp and the training sessions been eliminated all together?

Player development table... What does it do? What the hell is it anyway?

What about trades and other AI stuff... There is no showing of the AI activity on the vid, so there could be something done about that... Which was a way bigger issue in Live 2005 than the linear off-season.

The menu has been changed so that you don't load up the NBA Store every other time you want to go see "GM's desk"...

This raises alot of questions... Atleast for me... I don't know about you guys, but if EA has shown the green light to start introducing dynasty to the general public, I think we will be in for a treat the next couple of weeks...

Again I am not expecting much and much has been done already... I know that most of their effort has gone into transforming the game for XBOX360 and PSP... So it's actually good that they haven't redone the entire user interface -> So maybe they have concentrated on what's going on behind the scenes in dynasty mode instead of bringing us a new interface...

I am very optimistic about the dynasty in Live 06, I have good faith that it will be the best yet.

If you look at the stats of the playoffs after Phoenix wins..Nashy is average 13 pts and 5 assists

and Amare is averaging only like 9 points..and 6 rebounds?? I can't really see..

The simulated game quarter length was set at 7 minutes so that explains alot, but still Amare should score most points on the Phoenix roster... But as it was evident that the rosters were ancient so probably all the rating tweaking isn't quite complete... Atleast with the rosters he was using.

I was wandering how the league leaders had about 5 assists per game at max and then I realized that the sim quarter length was set at a low value.

I'm still pissed about the ratings. In 2004 they were low and I upped them all. I was stupid then it's 2394723x better when everyone isn't in the 90's. Now everyone is too fucking high.

They can't be that stupid...

If they are I might have to change to NBA 2K6 because it probably wasn't made by retards liek this. I mean come onnnnnnnn 75 Caron Butler to 76 Michael Redd...Redd is not that good..he can shoot..but Caron Butler is a 65 max.

Lol Metsis are you trying to be the new PinoyIDOL? Look at this objectively, any tiny little feature EA adds they make a HUGE deal about it... if they were to add anything like what you mentioned, we'd have 50 interviews and articles about it already. Remember last year, they pushed the new dynasty mode heaps... we knew almost everything about it weeks before the game came out, and at one stage had hundreds of screenshots showing us what we could do. This isn't like that.

Edit: 6'2 SG and a 7'2 PF

Don't get me going about PinoyIDOL... That man is just whack... But to me the removing of the freaky dynasty point system is huge... And if there are any people here who don't have the time to play all the 82 games in a season well, it's the same for them. This time around you are not penalised for simulating a game or two every now and then. And you don't have to push for the certain marks to get all the dynasty points during games. Like scoring with all the guys on your roster!

And Jae, you've been acting like a "BigBen2k5" for a huge while now... If you don't like Live games, then why are you moderating a Live board?

I was just merely pointing out, that there might not be so much new eye-candy for us to enjoy, but the improvements might be where it they count, for once.

I'm just saying that removing dynasty points, getting a hire/fire coaches thing where your coach actually matters, same for scouting, and HOPEFULLY a new and more active AI for trading and rumor milling and etc. that the dynasty is considerably different from last year and I believe it to be for the better. Ofcourse before we play test it for the first couple of months, then we really know if anything has changed, I'm just saying there are big reasons to stay positive about this and not go "aaaaahh, it's the same piece of crap we got last year"... Because hopefully it will be considerably different.

well, i really like the gameplay, so the only thing now is that what they do in the dynasty mode. one thing i would like ea to change is the offseason. last year's offseason was not basd/ok, but for nba live 06 to have the same offseason, its not good. so if they do something with that, i'm gonna be happy.

another good thing would be in reorder roster, there would be more information and players' stats from every year not only the previous year. from the video, we hvn't seen anything in reorder roster. they might be doing something because they didn't show us.

Yeah dude the dynasty sucked. The calendar is gay, the training sessions are boring, scouting sucks, awards aren't very exciting, blah blah blah I got more.
