If each team had their own public team of play-by-play announcer and color commentator and the occasional national game

scripting and recording seamless and non repetitive commentary is difficult enough with 2 commentators, such that suggesting an 60 additional commentators would be absurd

But the commentary in NBA Live isn't seamless or non repetative. But I get your point. Also this is in a wrong forum.
