Question on Live 06 for XBox360

Postby ShAuN on Sun Aug 21, 2005 4:29 pm

I just found out theres a Preimium XBox 360 system and a Core XBox360 System. The premium is $400 the Core is $300. heres what the differances are:

The premium package includes an Xbox 360, a detachable 20-GB hard-drive, a wireless controller, faceplate, headset, a component HD AV cable, an Ethernet cable, and for a limited time, a remote controller.

The Core 360 System is stripped down in comparison. It includes an Xbox 360, one standard wired controller, a faceplate, and a standard AV cable. The $399 package is designed for the high-definition gaming era; the other is designed for a no-frills, current-gen set-up. Presumably both systems come with power cords, though Microsoft's press releases didn't actually include them.

so will that mean the Core will still have the great graphics that the premium ones have? Just want to know. Thanks.

yes they are the same system.
the only diffrence is that one comes with more accessories.
technically the premium system has clearer graphics out of the box..
if you have an HDTV then the premium system brings the specific cables for an HDTV. this will allow you to see the game at a higher resolution which drastically improves the clarity of the graphics.
you can always just buy the core system and then buy the cables seperately as well.
however a article was released detailing all the prices for xbox 360 accessories and the prices are ridiculously high. i wouldnt waste that much money on what is basically an xbox 1.5
ill be happily waiting for the PS3.
if you are relly interested in an xbox 360 though, i suggest u buy the premium package. if you buy the core package you are going to spend as much as you paid for the system just buying the extra peripherals over time.

The major addition to the Premium is the hard drive.

I'm going to wait for the PS3 & the Revolution. Good things come to those who wait. :)

I'm going to be getting the $400 one on the day it comes out. I will also be buying three games (Madden, NBA live and something else). I'll be spending A LOT OF money that day.
