Who the fuck cares?

The only reason you guys wanna be mods is so you can see your name under the section title, or so it says MODERATOR under your name.

It doesn't give you any type of royalty. The mods already do a fine job around here -- they don't need your help.(Though I'm puzzled by the two additions to the NBA Talk section -- two guys who rarely visit the forum)

Anyways, it's not that big of a deal. Riot, I thought you were past that attention who shit. C'mon, bud. I'm happy to be on the side I am so there can be a lot of balance. If they gave out mod titles left-and-right, it would get to the point where it separates the spammers and the non-spammers.

Being a mod doesn't make you any better -- it doesn't get you respect. Just make some quality posts and then you'll get what you deserve.

Sorry, but moderator positions aren't about being noticed, they're about helping out with upholding the rules, keeping sections tidy by moving misplaced posts, etc.

Yea that's what you assume, if I just wanted to be a mod and have a tag, I would just say I want to be a mod and it doesn't matter which section. I know I can contribute to the dynasty section because hardly any of the mods visit that part of the section and instead of recieving PM's or posting in this thread I would be able to handle it myself whenever I see it. I wouldn't care if I had a Mod tag under my name or not, I just know I can help contribute to the dynasty sections in the forum.

That's exactly why Jae made this thread, in case something does slip one of the mods' eyes, you could just remind them of it in here. You say a lot of the mods don't visit that section, I beg to differ, I'm pretty sure Jae & Andreas visit it on a regular basis.

I can't load the large majority of threads in the Dynasty Story section of the forum, because of the amount of pictures etc... I have tried, but as dedicated as I want to be I can't sit here for 30 minutes watching a page load.

That's the whole premise behind this thread to be honest, for patching threads/dynasty threads that I can't load, and that others might not want to or whatever... so that if something needs to be done they can let one of us know and it will get done. I'd rather spend 30 minutes loading a thread when I know something has to be fixed as opposed to spending 30 minutes loading a thread to see if everything is alright.

Actually, I virtually never visit any of the Dynasty sections; mostly because I'm not a mod there (:wink:).
I leave the moding there to the ones that are mods there and the people that (potentially could) post in this thread.

By the way, thanks for the good word about the graphics.

That one's not a moderator request.

It's because that's the way phpBB's template works, only displaying the common emoticons, which I personally think is the best option as it would look quite cluttered and "busy" if all emoticons were displayed.
