EA Graphics Editor Photoshop Plugin.

It's hosted on FilePlanet, so if you're unfamiliar with that, check the Downloads FAQ. :)

I've had this plug-in for some time, but I've yet to figure out what to do with it. I put it in my photoshop plug-ins folder, but I don't know how I'm supposed to use it to make Live patches. Anyone have any adivice?

That problem does occur with FilePlanet, and I'm not sure why. The file has indeed been uploaded, and is available to download. I suggest checking the option to remember your login details, going back to the NLSC downloads database, and clicking the download button again.

The same error occurs with my current roster patch, even though it has been uploaded. As if FilePlanet was enough of a bother. :?

Editor your image in photoshop. When it comes time to save it, select

1. Save As...| *.DDS
2. A dialog opens and you choose DXT1 or DXT3 (depending)
3. Open EAGE
4. View the Image you want to import to
5. Open the Import Wizard and select your DDS file.

I provided this plugin so that users would feel more comfortable in the Photoshop environment. Really, EAGE does pretty much the same thing when you import the bmp or png file.

The DXT1 and DXT3 formats are stored in 16 bit format, so you will always have some loss of clarity when EAGE or Photoshop reduces the color depth from 24 bit to 16 bit.

i heard that it is one, so that you don't have to open photoshop every time...

this is a great plug-in by the way Brien :applaud:
i'm sure every patcher that uses/used it appreciates it a whole lot
