Don't just go flashing an 'Eagle' or 'Dragon' in your arm, do something that holds a historic or philosophical significance to you... something that can motivate you each day when you look at yourself in the mirror.

March 26th, 1985 - A flyer for a show at The Troubadour in Los Angeles says "L.A Guns and Hollywood Rose presents the band Guns N' Roses". The band's line-up is: Axl, Izzy, Tracii Guns, Ole Beich and Rob Gardner.
The band calls themselves Guns N' Roses (they rejected the names Heads Of Amazon and AIDS).
Later Duff joins the band and the lineup looks like this:
W. Axl Rose (vocals)
Izzy Stradlin (guitar)
Tracii Guns (guitar)
Duff McKagan (bass)
Rob Gardner (drums)

I've always considered Duff, Slash, Steven, Axl & Izzy, the only version of Guns N roses that counts.

In "Illusions II" there are better songs like "Civil War", "Estranged" and "You Could Be Mine" (I love that one). I am listening right now to "Get In The Ring"!!! I think I'll sing a bit!!

Despite everything, I do love those illusion albums... but. That 1st bunch of guys had great chemistry.. GnR was all about rocking out.
Matt is a better technical player then Steven, but steve just had more emotion. I'm also a big Velvet revolver fan, and I've seen them live. But when its all said and done, he was just a replacement.
Use your illusion 1 - Live and let die, Don't cry, Garden of eden, Coma(Y), dead horse... and just the 2nd half of november rain.

Have you seen his incredible drum solo when they played live in Tokyo 92? I doubt that Adler could perform something like that.

What about Coma

I've seen him drum solo live..... You should get your hands on some gnr bootlegs from the late 80's.. Adler did solos too..
