You know what ASSume means right? Don't do it, afterall NBA Live won't cease to fail you. Anyway I guess it's possible, I could see it in the game. It's a nice feature, and thank God you can apply some pressure.

I don't know about this new feature....I'm just not feeling it. It seems like it'll be very easy to abuse with so many different things you can do on defence (steal, take a chrage, force them out of bounds, deny them the ball, trap them with a double team) that it will be hard for the offence to score and the defence will be too strong.

Yes it could be abused, but the defense in basketball games nowadays are pretty weak..(except for abusive stealing) This can be a huge step in the right direction. Please EA...PLEASE implement this to nba live..

I guess this would be a good feature for a COLLEGE game, but definatley not the N.B.A. My only reason is that in the NBA they just dont try as hard on defence as college. Playing defence that tight is more apparent in college basketball than the NBA. So in terms of realism i dont mind seeing it in college, but i wouldnt like it in the NBA.

People don't play much pressure defense in the NBA, and when they do, it's not that harsh. The Wizards to have a matador press defense used for producing steals, but it's not as aggressive in terms of man to man D.

Wow, it's a real nice feature, I hope they put it in NBA, although I REALLLLLLY doubt it.

The NCAA games have a lot of unique features.

I guess, if you overly use it, it could lead to a reach in foul or something, or if you play against a good swingman or point guard, they could probably blow right by you.

I read that the other day, sounds interesting especially since we don't know much of the effectiveness of defense against Freestyle Superstars. But it's something that could be abused as much as the offensive superstar moves, though hopefully sliders would be able to balance it out a little.

Thats it!! The defensive freestyle superstars just might be the only ones capable of doing the lockdown defense. We all saw in the video where the player can strip the ball from the offense, so maybe the defensive FS's can use lockdown. Btw, whats arena pulse?

The offense is so up compared to the defense in nba live, so I wouldn't matter an abuse in defense, as long as it's not only for the computer. The whole blocks+steals=defense is getting annoying...So EVEN if the pressure defense is not for NBA, it would be certainly an improvement over the lame defense we have now...
