Sonics have a pretty good lineup there. GL with Ray Allen. Who's Iggy going to guard? Shard or Ray or are you going to do a little switching?

Felton vs. McCants, who'da thunk it?

Yea the addition of Troy Murphy made them pretty solid. I wish you would've said good luck with Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis and maybe that score would've been a little different. Iggy guarded Lewis most of the time and surprisingly, I played McCants and Korver mostly on Allen and they shut him down  Felton had the best game between the two, but if I remember, the first game they played, McCants had the better game.

Awesome newspaper and sweet dynasty

Thanks scherer (Y)

Tough loss, but the Sonics seem like a strong team again, especially with Murphy to help up front.

I'm liking the new recap style (smaller fonts) makes it seem more professional for some reason.

Good Luck for the next

Yep, their record doesn't show it, but they really are pretty good. I'm glad you like the recap style too because that's what I was going for, a more professional look and making things look much smaller just looks better to me than the regular size font.

Damn, Shard really lit you up. I guess that was the answer to my first post.

Yea you bastard  Saying good luck with Allen and I didn't even need luck for him :(

Troy Murphy's line....
5pts, 0/1 FG, 5/6 FT

he didn't even make that dunk....either he was blocked, was fouled or he just plain missed it

Well he missed the dunk actually and I took the pic before I even knew he was going to miss it. I take most of my pics early in the game to keep from pausing so much throughout the game, but some I take throughout the game especially if it's close. And when he first went up, I paused and took the pic then afterwards he missed so I was like oh well. but it was Johnnie Walker :P

NBA Star Allen Iverson on MTV Cribs

Philadelphia 76ers guard, Allen Iverson will show off his crib tomorrow at 5:00p.m., EST in Miami Florida. The show was viewed during the off-season where Iverson was hanging out at one of his two mansions in Miami. Hiis house includes:

-11 bedrooms

Image

Iverson was excited about being invited to be on the show because his favorite spot is in Miami and he said they caught him at the right time. "I was spending my vacation in Miami and when they were finding celebrities to help with another season, they were looking at NBA players and decided to pick me," Iverson said. "I don't mind showing off the things I've earned in life (laughs)."

Image

Iverson showing off his living room with carved marble floors and walls. He has a great view of the Alantic Ocean as well right outside the windows. "My living room is my favorite place to relax mainly because of the view I have and it's just a real nice setting," Iverson said.

Image

"This is the main vehicle I ride in when I'm heading to home games. My 2005 Hummer H2," Iverson said. "As you can see, it's sitting on 24's and its so high that I can probably live under here for about a week confortably (laughs)." Iverson also has customized seats in the truck thats in burgany and black and it says AI3 on the headrest of the seats. Tune in tomorrow afternoon to watch MTV Cribs.

76ERS VS. JAZZ
Delta Center, Utah, 5:30 p.m., EST

TV, radio: Comcast SportsNet; UPN 57
Records: 76ers, 7-5; Jazz, 2-12
INJURY REPORT: UTA - C. Boozer (sprained elbow) doubtful; M. Harpring (sore finger) doubtful

KEY MATCHUP: SAMUEL DALEMBERT VS. CARLOS BOOZER
Boozer is injured which makes it a greater chance of Dalembert winning this matchup. Boozer is the jazz top scorer, averaging 19.1ppg. Boozer hurt his elbow last night against the Memphis Grizzlies. He will have plenty of time to rest it at home as the Jazz next six games are in the Delta Center.

INSIDE THE 76ERS
The Sixers are back on the losing side of things as they have lost their last two games and hold a 7-5 record. They are placed 4th in the Atlantic Divison, but just two games back from first place. The most key stat is that they lost 5 out of their last 6 games and that's after winning 6 straight to start the season.

INSIDE THE JAZZ
Carlos Boozer isn't the only Jazz hurt, but Matt Harpring, the Jazz starting small forward is also plagued by an injury. He has a sore finger and is also doubtful for tonight's game. The Jazz expect him and Boozer to start tonight, but it will still become a game time decision.

Great idea with the MTV Cribs

Thanks, I was just going for something I've never seen anyone do before and I wanted to go with that idea.

at AI under his hummer. Cool idea.

lol, yea that's my favorite pic. I remember last night when I was talking to someone on MSN, they said Iverson needs a step ladder to get into a Hummer, sooooooooo I expressed that by putting him under it

haha thas cool shit. iz that his house for real ?

Thanks and naw, [][RAGON gave me this site where it had all kinds of rich and famous houses  and I just searched for one that would most fit with what I was doing.

Although MTV is a channel for suckers/tools/morons, that is one hell of an idea man.

 Now I know how you feel about MTV  Thanks too

Sweet Cribs idea

Thanks Longfellow and I like that name, maybe I should make a Longfellow clan :P

luvin' the MTV cribs....

props for that creativity I was talking about

Thanks X, what you said made me go after something new too

Hahaha, looks like AI never takes off his Philly jersey, not even at home... talk about commitment...

 What I was going to do was put him in his practice gear and make it seem like he was just coming back from excercising or something, but I decided to go with a throwback because it seem like something he would have and just wear for street clothes, I wish I could've added like a chain for him to wear too.

Love Iverson under his hummer!

Thanks lol, its funny because he look so small compared to it

Booze better play! I want him to kill Dalembert!

WHAT! You suppose to want Dalembert to kill Boozer

Boozer must be dealing with that bad karma from selling out the Cavs.

Exactly, thats what he forget for moving :P

I'm happy that everybody enjoyed the Cribs feature I added, expect more new stuff this season and I'll try to bring as much as I can to the dynasty to make it more exciting for the readers. I know I write alot, but I also try to add something else to where you won't have to read everything in order to know what's going on.

Iverson had trouble against the Jazz big men tonight

PHILADELPHIA, November 24 (Ticker) -- Rashad McCants got the Philadelphia 76ers off to a quick start with his jump shots. They finished off the Utah Jazz with free throws. McCants scored 14 of his career-high 26 points in the first quarter and the 76ers made 6 of 6 foul shots in the final period as they held on for a 104-97 victory over the reeling Jazz, who now sport the worse record in the league. The Sixers improved to 8-5 on the NBA season. The victory was just Philadelphia's third all-time at the Delta Center, which opened in 1993. "Nobody was paying attention to us with the slump we‘ve been on, so it feels really good to win this game, and we've got to keep it up," McCants said. "We needed this one bad because we didn’t want to lose 3 straight. We got this win, that's over with, and now we've got to try and go on a streak."

"I thought we did an excellent job shooting foul shots and Rashad just had a fantastic game," Sixers coach Jim O'Brien said. "He really got us off to a fast start and defended extremely well." McCants made 11-of-14 shots. He knocked down his only 3-point attempt in the game to get himself going as he made 6-of-6 shots in the opening quarter, helping Philadelphia get off to a decisive 41-19 lead. "I just felt really good. I started out taking shots and got into the flow of the game," McCants said. "I try to do that every night. They were double-teaming Allen and he was kicking it out to me and I just tried to knock down shots." The Sixers didn't commit a single turnover in the first half and finished with 13 overall as they took a 69-39 lead into halftime. The Jazz got back into it thanks to a 13-4 run near the end of the third quarter but could not get over the hump in the final period.

"That's a tough game to win," Jazz rookie guard Kirk Snyder said. "You have to make it easy on yourself and get turnovers. If you don't force any turnovers, it makes it really hard to win a ballgame." Gordan Giricek, who scored 17 points in the loss, pulled the Jazz within 98-90 with a long baseline jumper with 4:12 to play. Kyle Korver immediately answered with a jumper, and the Jazz didn't get any closer than 10 points the rest of the way. "This is getting old," Jazz forward Carlos Boozer said. "I thought we had a chance to win when we got to within single digits and then they hit a couple of jumpers and a few free throws, they got a couple of big offensive rebounds towards the end of the game." Iverson had 13 points on 5-20 shooting and six assists as he won in the Delta Center for the first time in his career. "It feels good for me personally, just to come in here and get a win," Iverson said. "It makes me feel good that we can come on the road and be successful even if I played as bad as I did. I just feel good about the direction we're going." Boozer had 9 points and 3 rebounds and ex-Sixer Matt Harpring had 6 points for the Jazz, who both played through injuries.

Thanks, and I'm happy that you like the presentation. My best suggestion for you is to just let the ideas come to you, like when your watchin TV or something similar and just keep playing if you really like the team you got.

76ERS VS. CLIPPERS
Staples Center, Los Angeles, 5:30 p.m., EST

TV, radio: Comcast SportsNet; UPN 57
Records: 76ers, 8-5; Clippers, 2-7

KEY MATCHUP: ANDRE IGUODALA VS. COREY MAGGETTE
This could probably be the most evenly matchup for both of these players. They have very similar characteristics such as athleticism and height. Maggette is definitely the stronger player, but Iguodala has the ability to take his opponents one-on-one. Maggette leads the Clippers in scoring with 23.3ppg, he also posts 6.8 boards and 4.3apg. Iguodala does have more free throw attempts than Maggette with a 69-61 comparison, but Iguodala has also played 4 more games.

INSIDE THE 76ERS
The Sixers aren't quite out of the hotseat yet. Even with the win against the sluggish Jazz, they have to finish out the month of November on a good note. Their final two games are against the Hawks and the Knicks.

INSIDE THE CLIPPERS
The Clippers opened up the season winning two straight games, but after that, things started to look like it was in their previous seasons. They are currently on a 7-game losing streak and are still searching for taht win to get them out of the slump. Elton Brand is still doing the dirty work on the team averaging 22.8ppg and 12.1rpg.

Yea, but remember that Livingston is probably much slower than Iverson as well and I think the Iggy and Maggette matchup lived up to the hype in the preview after the game :P

Clippers Weather Sixers’ Storm
Corey Maggette’s solid all-around game paved the way to a Clippers win

Maggette had his best shooting performance of the season against the Sixers

PHILADELPHIA, November 25 (Ticker) -- By the time the Philadelphia 76ers got around to helping Allen Iverson, it was too late. Iverson scored 31 points but was a one-man team for most of an 108-105 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, who got 56 points combined from Elton Brand and Corey Maggette. The NBA scoring leader at 26 points per game, Iverson appeared to be playing 1-on-5 in the first half. He scored 24 points on 9-of-14 from the floor while his teammates managed just 10 more points higher than his total. "It has been like that," Iverson said. "You would hope that guys wouldn't come out flat. It's just like having a sense of urgency. We have to understand that from the beginning of the game to the end, we have to play the same way. You can't wait until you get down and feel like you could lose the game and say, 'Now it's time to win it.'

"To me, this is the funnest sport in the world. You shouldn't have any problems going out there on the basketball court and giving it your all. You learn that in grade school." When Iverson briefly went cold in the 2nd quarter, there was no one there to pick up the slack. Philadelphia went scoreless for nearly four minutes as it missed four jumpers and committed three turnovers. A jumper by Iverson finally ended the drought at the 1:34 mark. By that time, the Clippers had already closed their 11-point deficit to single digits with the first half coming to an end. Leading by 8 points heading into the 3rd quarter, Philadelphia saw its lead go away after the quarter as the Clippers led 81-78. The two rookies, McCants and Simien woke up in the 3rd quarter scoring 14 of the Sixers’ 20 points.

"Iverson is going to get his points," Maggette said. "If their role players come in and have big games as well, you can be in trouble. We tried to cut that down. The role players weren't able to hurt us as much until late in the game." Maggette scored a season-high 36 points, while grabbed 8 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists. Brand made 6-of-6 free throws as he and Maggette led a parade to the foul line by Los Angeles, which was 25-of-31 from the stripe. Chris Webber came close to a triple double scoring 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dishing out 8 dimes for Philadelphia, which has still yet to hit a winning streak after their 6-game winning streak at the beginning of the season.

After Iverson and McCants, Philadelphia contributions were hard to find. No one attempted a 3-point shot except for Iverson and Willie Green which led to Iverson, who was 3-4 from downtown being asked if he should have shot more. "I'm so much into the game I don't think about if I am scoring or not," he said. "If I'm not scoring, I'm doing other things out there on the basketball court. That's what I want to do. If I'm not scoring, I hope I'm playing defense and getting guys involved in trying to make the game easier for everybody else. We really didn‘t play bad tonight, it was just the lack of effort in the first half. We had the opportunity to try and end the game early." The Clippers led 106-101 with 11.3 seconds left in the game. The Sixers were able to score on their last two possessions, but the Clippers also nailed two key free throws that sealed the game at the end. The Sixers weren’t able to get the last shot and the Clippers kept the ball away from Philly in the final 2.6 secs to grab the win.

Game Photos
Chris Wilcox posted a double-double grabbed 13 boards and scoring 10 points
Iguodala wasn't able to match Maggette's performance tonight
Kittles shot 6-18 from the field and ended up with 15 points
Iverson did what people expected and that was to dominate Livingston
Sixth man, Green couldn't get his jumper going tonight
Webber was two assists shy of a triple double
Elton Brand was able to dominate inside the paint
