One thing ive noticed is how low Marvin Willimas 3pt rating is, dont you think its a little low for someone who is said to have good 3pt touch??

IMO, every rookie in the patch has been given a rather low FG rating, resulting in some poor pecentages... so if you want someone's overall rating buffed up, I suggest you start from there...

As for Marvin Willimas, I don't really know, I'll check it out...

Yeah in my own personal dynasties I've tweaked quite a few of the ratings, but that was more my personal preference.

where do i get that misow's or Zach's patch ... and what this all about anyways, is it with cyberfaces?

and also what ids do we have to change, in player.dbf file, everything seems fine, but in appearance.dbf file, how do we know which player is which. I mean under ID7, there are some guys who have there ids like JJACK and GEGREE but rest is either empty or player0585 somethin' like that. Can anybody help me what to do? and i can't find appearid like 1642 like bogut like it was never entered. But did all those steps like saving as .bat and running it in the folder etc.

This seems to be a problem that heaps of people keep having.

When you change the appearance id, you take the number from the players.dbf then change the number APPEARID in the "appearance.bat" (not appearance.dbf) so that the number in Boguts players.dbf will match with his number in the Appearance.bat.

Note the appearance.bat will be a notepad txt file for a start when you copy it from this thread.

I install the patch the disfferents .bat in the roster folder, but when I finish a seaaon in dynasty, i cant contract new rookie players( after the drat, they are in free agents) because they are injured!!!!!!!
Somebody can say me how can I solve this problem???

Get some straight up pics of him, suggest a headshape and post your requast in the 'Patch Request' sections of the forum....

I have been trying to get the rookie patch to work but my game crashes on dynasty load every time. I followed the instructions exactly as they were written. The rookies appear in the players.dbf. I changed the appearance ID in the appearance.bat to match the player ID in the players.dbf file. However, it continues to crash. Someone posted that you had to change the ISCREATED, FACEPATCH, ISGENERATE to TRUE, so I did this for all of the real rookies, and it still crashes. I have repeated every step numerous times and have the same problem each time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not TRUE.... put FALSE in those fields...

Still not working. I don't know what the problem is. For some reason it continues to crash on loading if I have changed the rookies.

Try loading some other roster from the main menu and then try to load your save game... Used to have the same trouble when I was fiddling with soem Euroleague rosters...

Think I fixed it. I do have to load the roster that I started the dynasty with first. But also there was a problem with the rookie.bat file that I made. The command lines that I copied had a team ID for Bogut, but not any of the other rookies. So I just added the team ID into the command line for everyone else and now it works.
Well they are atleast in the draft pool with accurate appearance but now I am going to try the ratings.bat.

If you meant this : "/filter:TEAM=39 ", it is unnecessary as it leads the program to search for the records who have the number 39 under tha Team field... 39 is the number assigned to all the current year's rookies so the whole filter is not required.

The /filter: ROOKIRANK=4 is what guides th eprogram to replace the game generated rookie that is projected (4+1=) 5yj overall with the one whose name you put in the template...

Just use .dbf commander, open players.dbf and check out what his player ID is. Then open appearance.dbf, look for that ID and change the field HEIGHT to 76.

Probably so that he goes undrafted and someone signs him as a free agent... Oh, and change his POSITION to 4 in players.dbf, so that he can be a PG rather than a PF...

He is already at PG.

Okay, I did EVERYTHING. Installed the player files, ran the 3 bats for appearance, rating, etc.

The players are ALL IN THE GAME, they have ratings, and can be moved from Free Agent Pool to any team. However, oddly, once you've got the players added to a team, they cannot be moved anywhere when you go to re-order rosters (I can move all the other pre-created players though).

When you go to the actual game, even if the player is on the active roster, they do not show up AT ALL when you go to make a sub.

Since everything else is in place, I am only assuming this is some oversight in the players.dbf file. Can someone help me, PLEASE!!! This looks like one final mod I need to make to the DBF before I can play with the rooks!
