Tight pic of LeBron. That pic of AI^2 looks like he has red horns.

Stillll undefeated. AI shouldn't need to mention he's injured, because he's always playing hurt.

Mon May 30, 2005 12:26 pm

lovin this dynasty...keep it up mafia...hope u get one of those 40, 50 pt games wid iverson..

Thanks, and I'll be looking for one of those games as well. My team is looking real good so far so I may not need for him to have one of those games just yet even though he has had a 30-point game.

Thanks, I didn't know if I should've took it showing his face or from behind and I liked it showing his back better. at Iggy, I didn't never notice that. That's true about AI's injury, but sometime if you hurt, and you make big shots at the end, then I guess it's ok to mention it  My schedule going to start getting tough after I play the Lakers then Cavs.

LAKERS VS. 76ERS
Wachovia Center, Philadephia, 7:00 p.m., EST

TV, radio: Comcast SportsNet; UPN 57
Records: Lakers, 1-3; Sixers, 4-0
Injurt Report: Sixers- Allen Iverson (sore knee)

KEY MATCHUP: ALLEN IVERSON VS. CHUCKY ATKINS
Tonight is a crucial game for Iverson who injured his knee two games straight. Even though he is planning on playing tonight, he must be careful of bumping his knee again. Atkins is a solid defender and he won't be afraid to get physical with Iverson. Iverson won't back down tfrom any challenge considering he is a warrior so expect him to possibly take the same amount of shots he usually takes and he will try to get his teammates involved.

INSIDE THE 76ERS
The Sixers are one of the few teams still undefeated (Boston, Detroit). With the Celtics in their division, they won't have an easy time trying to get the first spot in the weak Atlantic Division. Iguodala is also becoming a very dangerous player, averaging 19.3ppg, 5.8rpg and 5.8apg through the first 4 games this season. He could end up in the All-Star Game this year.

INSIDE THE LAKERS
The Lakers aren't doing no better than they were doing last season wiht a 1-3 record. They added rookies Tiago Splitter and John Gilchrist to the team, but no significant trades or major improvements. They have the same starting lineup from last season with the exception of Brian Grant starting at center over Mihm.

Iguodala shot terrible from the field but shot 10-11 from the line

PHILADELPHIA, November 6 (Ticker) -- What began as a shootout between Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant turned into an easy win for the Philadelphia 76ers. Iverson scored 18 of his 24 points in the first half as he rest his knee for most of the 2nd half and the 76ers remained undefeated with a 97-87 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The coach decided to take AI out because of the fact that he may bump his knee again. The team was in control for most of the game which is why he could rest. "I felt that it would‘ve been a big mistake to let him play 40+ minutes tonight when the team was already playing well," Coach O‘Brien said. "I knew if we needed him though in the 2nd half, I would let him come back in.”

Led by Iverson, the 76ers raced past the Lakers in the first half, who moved to 1-4 of the season. Philadelphia shot 45% from the field in the game, while the Lakers shot just 42%. The game was billed as a duel between Iverson, one of the NBA‘s top scorers, and Bryant, a Philadelphia native. It began that way as the two engaged in a first-quarter shootout, with Bryant scoring 14 points and Iverson 10 as Philadelphia grabbed a 29-21 lead. "That's the way it looked," Iverson said. "I got into a good rhythm. Obviously, he was in a good rhythm. At one point in the first quarter, we were trading baskets." However, the Lakers could not keep up with the breakneck pace established by Sixers in the 2nd half which led to a lot of missed buckets by Kobe. "We needed to get other people involved," Bryant said. "Once they started double-teaming me, I would kick it to the open man, but the shots weren't falling for us. They went out and we never could make a run."

Willie Green had an alley-oop pass to set up a soaring slam by super sophmore Andre Iguodala and sank a jumper in a 9-3 spurt that closed the 3rd quarter and kept the Sixers ahead by double digits heading into the 4th period. "It's tough," Bryant said "I don't like losing one bit. There are many lessons to be learned in this type of adversity. We have to take this as a challenge and do the best we can." Bryant came close to a triple double with 8 assists and 9 rebounds to go along with his 20 points. "It's hard to stop Kobe Bryant 1-on-1," Iverson said. "You got to have team defense. You can't put that on one man. You got to have a conscious effort from everybody. Tonight was just better." Iguodala scored 14 points and made a career-high 10 free throws and Webber added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Philadelphia, which are on a 5-game winning streak to start the season.

you're rolling again....5-0....you'd have to be the best GM in the game these days....converting the Suns into a winner and then the 76ers....but can you keep it up, that is the question we all ask....but who would doubt you?!?

Tue May 31, 2005 3:14 am

You still have McCants at #32. Tsk Tsk..

Tue May 31, 2005 6:09 am

Great Dynasty. Love the newspapers...would like to see Webber get more points though...

Yea, I'm real good at the game, but the main thing is that I'm not playing no real competition lol. I have a couple of hard tasks coming up in playing Seattle again and Detroit and Sacramento too. It should be interesting later on through the season though.

I could care less about ol' Billy. It's just a dynasty so I will just keep him there anyway because I have already played games with him that way anyway. It's not really bothering anyone else.

Thanks, and Webber is getting enough points like he usual gets. Don't expect him to be my top option though with Iverson  Iggy been moving up so I might make C-Dubb my 3rd option. :P

I was planning on making an update right now, but I've been working on this new accurate shoe patch, but you can expect an update sometime today though so I can play the Cavs for the final time

Tue May 31, 2005 7:04 am

Good to see the season rolling now. I can't really think of anything to say, since you're pretty consistent and it's pretty much as good the Phoenix dynasty, so keep it up I guess.

76ERS VS. CAVALIERS
Gund Arena, Cleveland, 7:00 p.m., EST

TV, radio: Comcast SportsNet; UPN 57
Records: Sixers, 5-0; Cavaliers, 3-2

KEY MATCHUP: ALLEN IVERSON VS. DERON WILLIAMS
These two shouldn't be no stranger to each other as they are facing each other for the 3rd time in just six games played through the season. The doctors cleared Iverson earlier today saying that he is completely healed from his sore knee injury that he hurt last time the two teams met on November 4th. Deron Williams has continued his impressive play averaging 21.2ppg and 4.8apg in the first 5 games and is looking like an early Rookie of the Year canidate.

INSIDE THE 76ERS
The Sixers have a perfect 5-0 record and they haven't really played anybody other than Cleveland, Seattle and the Lakers. They are taking care of business so far, but expect things to toughen up after tonight when they play the Bulls, Pistons and Kings.

INSIDE THE CAVALIERS
The Cavs only losses have came from 76ers with their 3 wins coming against the Suns, Grizzlies and Bobcats. They have two players averaging double-doubles in Ilgauskas and Gooden, but former MVP, Lebron James numbers have dropped from last season. He is averaging 20.4ppg, 5.4rpg and 5apg this season.

Thanks, but don't worry, things are a little boring now probably because I'm playing the same teams (Cleveland  ) and I'm winning but you know things will definitely get exciting like it was in my Suns dynasty.

Lebron James and the Cavaliers faced another defeat to the 76ers tonight

PHILADELPHIA, November 9 (Ticker) -- Rashad McCants’ off-balance 3-pointer got the Philadelphia 76ers back on track. McCants’ momentum-turning shot midway through the third quarter triggered a closing 14-2 run as the 76ers recovered for a 74-68 leading heading into the 4th quarter and ended up winning for the 6th straight time with a 105-88 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Allen Iverson scored 28 points and Chris Webber led a stout defensive effort by the Sixers (6-0), who limited Drew Gooden to 5-of-13 shooting and kept a perfect record for the start of the season. Philadelphia let the Cavaliers make a run in the 2nd quarter to take a 52-45 heading into halftime.

The 6-3 McCants used a headfake to get Jiri Welsch in the air, leaned to his left and threw in his only 3-point attempt and make of the game, giving the Sixers the lead for good. "I tried to get a foul," McCants said. "Welsch did bump me but no call was made. I threw it up and it went in. You just hope it feels good." After that three, it was over for the Cavaliers as the Sixers outscored them 60-36 in the 2nd half. "A big blow was when McCants made the lucky three," Cleveland guard Lebron James said. Leading the defense was Webber. In addition to shutting down Gooden, he had 3 blocks on Drew Gooden and Ilgauskas combined and also had 3 steals.

"Catching Ilgauskas from behind, that was one of the good highlights of the early season,” 76ers coach Jim O'Brien said. "That was a terrific play and a terrific non-call by the official." Iguodala scored 16 points and McCants and Dalembert added 10 apiece for the Sixers, who have yet to lose a game. The Sixers dished out a season-high 29 assists, 11 by Iverson and five apiece by Iguodala and Webber. "I thought the job Andre and Korver did on LeBron was really, really strong even though he scored 20 points, but he didn‘t go off," O'Brien said. James had 9 assists and 4 rebounds to go along with his 20 points. Ilgauskas added 15 points and 13 boards and made 6-of-7 shots for Cleveland (3-3), which faced a season sweep to the Sixers.

Well Deron played well, but nowhere better than Iverson.

Thanks, I had fun playing the Cavs because I was beating them everytime  I've been trying to give Green some minutes, but I've also been playing Simien and Korver. I'm using more of an 8-man rotation, but I just didn't play Green that much in this game even though it wouldn't have hurt to give him around 15 minutes. I've just been trying to get use to McCants more than Green, but expect Green to be a big part of the team as the season goes on.

Where's the realism?

The realism is my stats and gameplay along with other stuff that goes on in the dynasty, not something about a retired number and I even put something in my newspaper about Billy letting McCants get the jersey number (Y)

Nice about Billy giving his number to McCants ... I really like your newspaper ! The newspaper is kinda the symbol of your dynasty for me ... :D

BULLS VS. 76ERS
Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, 7:30 p.m., EST

TV, radio: Comcast SportsNet; UPN 57
Records: Bulls, 3-3; Sixers, 6-0

KEY MATCHUP: SIXERS BACKCOURT VS. BULLS BACKCOURT
This is the matchup the Sixers have been waiting on. The Bulls have their starting PG and SG standing at 6'3" and the Sixers backcourt stands at 6'0" and 6'3". It's Hinrich-Gordon vs. Iverson-McCants. The Sixers backcourt average 40.1ppg, 7.6rpg and 10apg combined. The Bulls backcourt combine for 39.5ppg, 8.2rpg and 11.8apg. It will be a very fast pace game with these 4 players on the court and the biggest matchups to watch is McCants vs. Gordon with both of them at the same height, but McCants weigh 7 more pounds than Gordon.

INSIDE THE 76ERS
This is the beginning of the 76ers 3-game home stretch and will probably be their toughest home-stretch of the early season facing the Pistons and Kings after tonight's game. They are looking to keep their win streak alive with a win tonight agains the young Bulls squad.

INSIDE THE BULLS
The two players in the Bulls backcourt have stepped up to become the leaders of the team. They are the two top scores on the team and both are very young. The Bulls are tied for 2nd and 4th place in their division with Cleveland and Milwaukee having a .500 record.
